  Many thanks Raymond. I was able to download Trend Micro AV and free trial serial worked for 366 days. During installation Trend Micro requested removal of SpyBot, Spyware Doctor and Spyware Blaster. If known prior to installation I would have removed them with Revo to avoid leftovers in the registry. However it has not asked removal of existing Symantech AV?? Despite to no warning I intend to remove Symantech …

  I first came across your site/blog about 3 weeks ago, and to tell the truth, this will be my first “blog” experience.

  I downloaded the trial version and tried it on my desktop and laptop and while I had to run the program 3 or 4 times, I did notice an improvement each time, (except the 4th, I guess it had completed it’s task)

  It’s amazing how many people just want free stuff, even for a product that 90% of typical readers of this site will never either fully utilize or use at all.

  Thanks for the TrendMicro link again, I didn’t catch it in time but hopefully this one will prove to be useful. I’ve been looking for a replacement antivirus since BitDefender still eats up resources and causes the computer to be very slow at first boot.

  As my comment yesterday, this will be a very usable utility for windows like Bootvis before. Until now I using Bootvis in my old computer and its very effective to analyze what it the culprit during start-up. I hope I could win to be used in my win 7 laptop.
