Went to watch Sky High last night because every Wednesday is movies day where you’ll get 50% cheaper tickets

A Wald Disney movie which is not too kiddy and it’s funny. I always liked movies such as X-Men where you get to see many super heroes with super powers. Hope I can fly one day.. or become invisible *grins* (oh no.. that would be the end of the world!)
Overall, I think this movie is worth to watch it in cinema. I’ll give it a 4/5 rating,
IMDb gave 6.9/10 from 2,243 votes and
Cinema Online only gave 3.5/5.
Synopsis
The sons of superheroes go to school – at least, that is in the case of Will Stronghold (Michael Angarano). Will’s parents are The Commander (Kurt Russell) and Jetstream (Kelly Preston). Therefore, he goes to Sky High, an elite high school that turns today’s power-gifted students to the superheroes of tomorrow.
The only problem with Will is that he has no superpowers of his own. Thus, he finds himself joining the class of ‘sidekicks’ instead of ‘heroes’ due to his shortcoming. Now, he must somehow survive his first year in school while dealing with the usual angst, parental expectations, school problems and girl issues that accompany teenage life.
When an evil alien threatens his family, friends and the very sanctity of Sky High, Will must use his newfound superpowers to save the day and prove himself a hero worthy of family tradition.
