There are many programs that can provide you with some information about your CPU.
However, not all of them can identify a duly wide range of CPUs, discover all of their capabilities.
Meanwhile, such information could be extremely necessary and useful.
Today I decided to have a closer look at the program, which I consider one of the best in its class!

It called CPU-Z. And it will give you comprehensive information on your CPU, as well as chipset, memory, and AGP!
CPU-Z is a freeware that gathers information on some of the main devices of your system.

-Core stepping and process.
-Package.
-Core voltage.
-Internal and external clocks, clock multiplier.
-Supported instructions sets.
-All cache levels (location, size, speed, technology).

Mainboard
-Vendor, model and revision.
-BIOS model and date.
-Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor.
-Graphic interface.

Memory
-Frequency and timings.
-Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) : vendor, serial number, timings table.

System
-Windows and DirectX version.
