   I was just reading a long thread at Demonoid about this crack. Seems like the success with using it so far, is somewhat varied. I couldn’t determine from the large number of comments though, whether the difficulty was that some people were having trouble understanding how to use it, or if the crack doesn’t work under all circumstances. Should be interesting to see how people make out with it here. Thanks for the head’s up on it.

    YES…2day Microsoft “Windows Update – Vista validation” (103kb) –> DON’T DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THIS UPDATE !
    I was dloaded and install and must again install Windows Vista.

    For sure change ur settings 2 manually (Check updates and dont auto. download and install them).

    @ssd, no the activation doesn`t work anymore after you applied the update validation check (103kb), that is what I did, so I must install Vista again with the updates disabled.

    Hopefulle there will be a new activation patch within 30 days.

    JUST DO THIS AND YOUR WINDOWS IS ACTIVATE AGAIN!!
    AND THE GENUIE UPDATE IS GONE HEHEHEHE….

    press win key+r and run : rundll32 slc.dll,SLReArmWindows

    THEN DO THIS :

    Reboot Windows Vista, and boot into Safe Mode.
    Launch Windows Explorer, go to Folder Options and check (tick or select) “Show Hidden Files” and “Show protected system files” options.
    Then click OK.
    Zap the WPA encrypted store by deleting the following files (hidden by default unless you show hidden file as instructed above):
    “C:\Windows\System32\7B296FB0-376B-497e-B012-9C450E1B7327-
    2P-0.C7483456-A289-439d-8115-601632D005A0?
    “C:\Windows\System32\7B296FB0-376B-497e-B012-9C450E1B7327-
    2P-1.C7483456-A289-439d-8115-601632D005A0?

    Uninstall the WGA (Windows Vista Genuine Advantage) update by execute or run the following command:
    regsvr32 /u c:\windows\system32\LegitCheckControl.dll

    Reset the Vista Software Licensing tokens file by copying back the RC1 or RC2 tokens.dat to
    “C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\
    Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing\”

    Replace the original tokens.dat.

    The following step is to remove the Windows Product Activation (WPA) data from the registry.
    It’s impossible to do this at normal Vista installation bootup, so restart the computer and boot with Windows Vista DVD.
    Choose to “Repair my Computer” and then select your appropriate Vista installation.
    Then select “Command Prompt”, and at command prompt window, type “regedit” (without quotes to run registry editor.
    Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry branch, and then click on File -> Load Hive.
    Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\config and choose the SYSTEM hive. Give it key name of “temp”.
    Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\temp\WPA\ registry branch and remove every registry subkeys under it.
    Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\temp\ and then click on File -> Unload Hive.
    Exit from registry editor, exit from command prompt, and then restart the computer.
    After booting up normally into Windows Vista, the Vista will be in RFM mode
    (reduced functionality mode) with message of “Your copy of windows is not genuine.”
    Run slui.exe.
    Enter any CPP product key (serial key issued during Release Candidate 1 or RC2).
    Windows Vista should be activated as genuine.
    Log off (logout) and log on (login) again to reactivate Windows Aero interface.
    You can now run windows update, by remember point 1 above,
    uncheck the KB929391 WGA update and if you don’t want to see it forever, hide it.

    IMPRTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT
    dont forget one important thing…. DISABLE AUTO UPDATE FOR WINDOWS after you done all of this

    This Crack Is Really Genuwine i Tried it, and followed the instructions in the txt file.. and i was able to crack vista to a working genuwine 100%, but i remember reading some where on the internet that microsoft would address this issue by Microsoft Vista Validation Update (KB929391) i just got this update.. and im not sure if its because of this crack why microsoft came out with it. anyways i didn’t update with it so im not sure it this vista validation might determine still if its genuwine, if it does this crack works even with the validation update if it does that means vista is not so genuwine im a try it and see what happens then i will post again to let you all know if it works..

    3. Type: winver
    A pop-up window will appear that informs you that WinVista is in evaluation mode and will expire on July 2007.

    well… i think you will find very interesting what i have tosay. I installed windows vista a few days after it’s release as RC2 ultimate. Of course, after 30 days i got a message that sayed that i have to activate my product, but i closed it. My computer was running a little over 2 days when that happened. 18 days later i unfortunateley had to restart it, and guess what! windows was not working anymore and required activation… in the hope that i could work my way arround that, i clicked other ways to activated and choose the phone call. The software gave me a Romanian phone number where i called and i was transfered to the US activation service. A microsoft employee answered… i think her name was Christie, and asked me for the first 6 digits of the activation number and in a few minutes she gave me the activation key. Now i’m proud to say that my windows vista displays a Microsoft genuine product logo in stead of the 30 days trial period

    Oka Guys i Have Finally Find Out IF This crack is fake or not and it actually worked when i called microsoft and the phone system gave me an activation and i was able to crack the vista to a working 100% genuwine vista.. who ever did this thanks to them not only that the Product Key that came with the vista i had downloaded from a torrent site is a 100% working vista key… and i did the update and microsoft update validation tool validates my vista as genuwine… so thanks to dr. chang..

    in case you guys don’t know there is a secret behind activating it with the validation tool from microsoft to make it genuwine

    i downloaded vista RTM!!! and after a week, due to my A-Level exams, i sat down and work through Dr. Chang’s Crack!!! step by step the guide is useful!!! has provided me with all the information, although at sum points instead of looking for the file, it was best to search for it in the search bar at the top, and just double check, that it is the file that you need to change!!!

    and yes i now have a ‘ geniune ‘ version of windows vista ultimate! and i can recieve updates!!!
    i’ve backed up the crack and RTM vista on disk! just incase anybody else may need it!!

     Yeah, it does work…. to an extent. Microsoft knows about it though because they are sending out validation updates for vista which corrects the crack if it is in use. I performed the crack yesterday and Vista was updated with the validation update today and was reverted back to an un-activated copy of windows. So…. unless you plan on using Vista while not connect to the internet, this crack is useless.

     for thoughs who want to update. go to your windows update.on the left click change settings.check the view updates but do not d/l or install them box. then once its done checking for updates. click view available updates. then check and uncheck the ones you want then install.make sure that you uncheck the vaidation tool

     Oh, and BTW, the Vista TimeStop does work. I fear it will not soon, though.

     Microsoft can stop it from working just like everything else. They do own your system. The timestop.sys can be removed, the TimeStop service can be rejected, and the Kernel stopping thing can be started.

     It’s just a matter of time, depending on if M$ finds a way to stop it or not.
     Although I may be wrong about them being able to stop it. Can they?

     how the activation line works is when at the screen at any microsoft windows activation screen choose activate by phone and then call microsoft and type or say the numbers on your phone at the activation screen when choose to activate by phone it gives u a number a long number that is separated by colums a b c d e f g an so forth type that number in the phone when asked to do so and wait for an activation when u finish type all the numbers in by sequence the activator gonna give u back an number to type in each box a b c d e f an so forth and when u get to the last column click continue or whatever u have to click to get to the next screeen and it should say windows is activate successfully

     i’ve been enjoying this ‘geniune’ version of vista ultimate and its the best of cracking it!! no trouble at all!!

     yes this works with the beta keys! there will be an update which is – mircosoft validation check! do not – DO NOT do that update, otherwise you will have to reinstall vista and do the process all over again. the best way for updates is… to do it manually, and install everything other then the ones that involve microsoft validation checks!!

     War_Angel3085 what patch do you currently have / used?

     i have the DR. Changs crack if any one needs, when lookin for somefiles, you do have to search for it, cuz it maybe hidden, but all the directories are there to help you!!

     just run the stoptime.sys patch, every restart reverts the 30 day activation time to todays date. It will read 42300 minutes left to activation every day. you can still get all the genuine microsoft downloads and updates…works like a charm

     Very True, but no need to turn automatic updates off, just set it to download but prompt you for install, then look through the updates and dlwnload everything but the ones that read “Updates for Windows” or similar.

     I personally had to reinstall 4 times =)
     Or you can go with the timerstop.sys crack, but I’m not a big fan of messing with the BIOS, so I’ll stick with this.

     there is no crack out there that will permanently activate windows, even Dr changs crack is only good for 180 days,
     the only permanent crack so far is the timerstop way, they have now made this crack into a .exe app so you dont have to go through all the bullshit – just run the app and it will make all the changes for you.

     i’ve installed the crack by raven. first tow times it activated…then deactivated itself. the third time, I shut off windows auto udate and it has remained activated for a few weeks now. At this point, I would like to use update though….somebody must have worked around this by now.

First it was okay, no expiration times etc. but when i downloaded updates from windows update (though i DIDNT download the validation tool thing…) and restarted my computer there was appeared a expiration day; 1.6.2007.      i have a retail version of ultimate that i got my hands on, i used dr.changs crack.. and download all updates, and rebooted pc, and it’s still active for a couple of months, the only thing that i cant get rid of is, is the evalution copy watermark, tried replacing the user.dll file same problem… anyone have any idea’s on the watermark let me know..

     I’ve been using Vista Ultimate (Dutch copy) since december, using the same method. (Although i manually fiddled with the files and replaced them.)
     For safekeeping. made an image for it so i could restore..
     However, somehow never had to use that while i downloaden ALL updates en have Automatic updates on.
     Still works, still genuine (Till 1-7-07, but we’ll see what happens then)
     So, at least for me the validation updates (which i checked, are installed) didn’t break my installation..
     Strange..

     I have tried this crack and it does NOT work or it does not work like I believe it should. Firstly, why isnt there an RC1 or RC2 key already writtenin the readme that we can use? Second, why must i still activate over the internet? Soon the people at Microsoft are going to find out its fake and stop allowing activation with RC keys.      I have tried using and installing this crack in the end with an RC1 key I got from Microsoft. It worked well for a few minutes untill it auto-detected my windows is not genuin. I got another 30 days left to activate and this time, features of windows like windows update and aero style started shutting down saying it must be genuin. So I am afraid that unless a crack for windows Genuin is found, this crack cannot do much (I have tested this on a 64bit Vista Enterprise). Please email me if anybody knows how to solve this though.      Yes you can get your XP genuine back…use whatever install cd you have and whatever spoofed key you want that will work…download and use the XP activation crack and then download keyfinder which will tell you what your current key is and gives you the option to change it…then all you need is an XP keygen and thats pretty easy to find…run the keygen and put the new key into keyfinder and you will instantly be genuine…this fools even the genuine advantage tool that microsoft uses when you get updates and when you try to install other microsoft products because you are using a legit key. I imagine this will eventually be the downfall of vista as well. All someone has to do is come up with the right code that successfully randomly generates valid keys and microsoft’s million dollar project to stop piracy gets flushed down the poop chute. Someone will soon rise to the challenge and make it happen…in fact microsoft now is claiming that vista activation HAS been breached but they don’t think that the people responsible are in a position to distribute it.      just a warangel said and a few other the validation updates will kill ur vista. just set ur updates to notify but dont download when the menu comes up for donloads right click on each line it will give u the name of the update like “vista validation update” or “hotfix for vista”

     just uncheck the validalidation updates….. the rest will download and all is well again….

     lastly the activation over the phone is the best way to go.

     If you want your evaluation copy for longer than the end of august, do this:

     1. Disable User Account Control coz it just pisses everyone off.
     2. Disconnect the internet.
     3. Change the date to 30/12/2099.
     4. Reboot.
     5. Your computer is now in shit mode so just open up command prompt as the administrator (C Windows/System32/cmd.exe). Now run slmgr.vbs -rearm.
     6. Reboot.
     7. Change the date back to the actual date.
     8. Reboot.
     9. Now ur PC should be all good untill 2099.

     It works.
     If it works, tell us !

     Ok rembrand I tried that but im still locked out. after the normal crack I checked and had until 8/07 to use vista. I first disabled the auto window time sync, then rebooted into bios and changed the date. Next booted normaly and in shit mode rearmed windows and rebooted as it said. I went back to the bios and set the date back. but still widows only lets me use shit mode/re activate/new key. Any ideas

     Ok rembrand the method to extend the evaluation period to 2099 with rearm did not work for my ultimate 64bit copy. And one extra note, for anyone who trys this and it does not work. after you set the bios date back to 2007 you will still have shitmode windows but all you need to do is a rearm a 2md time using the correct date and reboot. This will set the eval back to 8/07 and also will be un activated, so you will have to reactivate just as you did before with dr. changs crack to get bast the 30 days.

     Anyways does anyone have any ideas on how to kill the evaluation period or extend it to some crazy amount of time like 2099.

     I have been fooling with both dr changs method and the timestop v2a (works with 64 bit as well) method.

     I like time stop because it has no evaluation period and the grace period never counts down. But I don’t like it because you can’t activate your copy like here. It still lets you do updates and full OS features. But I like the slmgr.vbs -dlv to show that im licenced.

     I like the dr changs method because it lets you activate your copy and kill the grace period. But it does not kill the eval period set to 8/07 for me. I have personaly tested it by doing th crack all ok and then booting with the bios past 8/07 and boom its in shit mode. have to do the whole rearm back at the right date and re activation again.

     Any Help

     The whole reason we have the evaluation period is because we install using no key in the beginning.

     What if we modified the install so that vista installed the RC2 token and pkeyconfig files and would initially accept and RC2 key during install.

     Then you could activate using the same method as dr chang but there would never be a eval period to screw with.

     Yha that would be a problem. And I guess it wouldn’t work anyways. After playing with it all night its the RC license files that cause vista to go into the eval mode. And its only a matter of time before the validation update becomes mandatory to further do updates just like WGA in XP. Man I like my WPA Kill app for XP.

     We really need a RTM keygen with a phone activation keygen.

     I’ve seen news of the Chinese working on keygen based on the “Microsoft Volume Activation 2.0 Tool” Its is suppose to be out soon. It would be great.

     Its not a fake. It is a real tool and the crackers were testing it so they did not release the dll files with the preview. The link the one with the password maybe the same as the previous link or maybe a not. Its the same file size as the first one. Anyways the link below is the same tool that War_Angel 3085 sent me in an email. So it is a real too and war_angel used it to crack one of his copies. When I asked about the dll files, he had forgot to send them as they were sepreate from the tool itself.

     He has them. He emailed me again today and said he has been busy with work but will be posting the missing dll files soon for us to use. Also wanted me to pass that on for him.

     If you use the 32-bit Windows Vista version, then yes there is. It’s Paradox’s BIOS emulation that makes your computer seem like OEM. Since it would be troublesome for people to have to activate an OEM product every 180 days, large manufacturers of hardware such as ASUS, HP, etc., don’t have to have it activated once the OEM is on the machine. And it does not appear activated, it is technically an OEM. Also, since OEM manufacturers get a single key for each product, and the key sticker that is on the case of your computer is a random one that is not used, Microsoft wouldn’t dare revoke that key for the thousands to millions of people that buy Dell, HP, ASUS, etc., computers would be screwed and a few lawsuits would insue.

     Also, on the War_Angel’s keygen, it probably is real. But it’s in Russian. I’m looking into a forum at the moment that looks promising and if it returns results, I’ll link to the forum. Also requires people to post to see some info, and I’m gonna start a thread in English asking for help on the subject. I would translate but translators are not 100% true most of the time, and although it wouldn’t be too hard to read, I’d rather read it in English than have to translate every Russian post. I do not know if it is real, but if it is however, that would be very nice. And please don’t tell me to use Google’s website translation, as I have tried it. The site uses some weird form of identification and it only reads the cookie that says “I’m logged in” if it’s from my IP and not Google’s. Weird.

     It does work, as cluster said. Just some quick FYI:

     It does not edit your BIOS at all; it emulates your BIOS
     It will not phone home to M$ unless you explicitly tell it to
     It is activated and not just “30 days”
     You will get the updates the people with TimerStop cannot as they are not truly activated

     I know it does not change the licnece files , It activates it so the 30 day trial is gone and it is genuine, and you can do updates.
     But does it remove the evaluation period. (Not the 30 day trial but the evaluation, these are differnet.” I assume it does as the evaluation is trigured from the RC2 licence files and Key. You can check this by doing a slmgr.vbs -dlv it should have no time count, should say licened, and should not have a evaluation expiration date.

     Anyone comfirm this. If so then it is a true crack without limitations minus the validation update from MS. Or does it also pass validation.

     It acts as if your computer is OEM, as if you bought it from HP or Dell. These do not have any “Evaluation Copy” anywhere as this would make no sense. Think of it as buying a new computer with Windows Vista Home Premium or Ultimate from HP. It will always be on there, pass validation, etc. It will also be able to update with any update, and if the automated command prompt works as the TimerStop one did, it would also randomize the file name for added security. And M$ will never check your computer to make sure it’s genuine as OEM computers never have to do this unless the owner forces the OS to do so.

     people with trial 30 day version (timestopped or not) have full access to MS downloads, its like saying people with only trial version of norton do not get all live updates – of course they do.

     30 day vista has full access because it was written to attract people to it !!, people have full access so eventually they think they cant live without it, especialy when theve just spent the last 30 days loading all their personal shit on it – therefore all is needed at the end of the trial is to enter a product key and its theirs for life.

     there is no restriction with the 30 day trial – exept for when it ends

     I know what I’m talking about, ok? I’ve been around Vista for a while, probably longer than you. To clarify:

     There are some updates that would kill your TimerStop, thus rendering it useless. Or at least some people reported it that they had their TimerStop killed. Also, there are some things that would trip up your TimerStop such as Unlimited ReArm Hack. Either of these ways would make TimerStop useless.

     What I meant was that OEM will always be able to update, as M$ thinks it’s Genuine and not a 30 day trial.      For those people out there having problem using PARADOX crack this crack is a great alternative, probably the one which will last longest even.

     WORKS perfect on Nforce MBR!!! No BSOD Bullsh1t!!!

     Here’s some info on the nvidia nforce, it may help:

     Basically, do not install the NVIDIA PCI update, it conflicts with royal.sys and causes the blue screen upon boot.

     For nForce 2 boards the update is called: NVIDIA – system – NVIDIA nForce PCI System Management

     For nForce 4 (& onwards I believe) boards the update is called: NVIDIA – system – nForce4 PCI-Express Root Port

     Some quotes taken from a board and some reports that using an older PCI driver works (i.e. doesn’t give a BSOD on boot). Remember to create a Restore Point if you try any update or changes that could affect royal.sys.

     From some reports, the PCI System Management is apparently what causes the conflict with royal.sys and therefore the BSOD. I’ll try this out later on.

     Edit: I’ve installed all updates except KB931573 (as people say it’s best not to on a cracked version) and the PCI System Management update and Vista still boots without BSOD.

     So that’s pretty much confirms it, don’t install the PCI System Management update for nforce boards.

     yes it is true at the moment it only does work with x86, and yes it does work, if u are a bit unsure about installing vista then make a virtual pc and install vista RTM onto that, i recomend vmware because i found it is one of the few that lets u use the internet with your virtual pc (if you use vmware u hav 2 install vmware tools to acess the insternet with vista)

     So, safe mode worked for a bit, but I ran into problems.

     Using Paradox, I started in safe mode and disabled UAC.

     I was able to run OEMTOOL.EXE, and when I restart normally I stilll get a promt for seriel nuber/register.

     I can start back up in safe mode, but when I go to the fourth stepl I get an error message.

     Just a quick question, when you have applied this patch, and stopped the update for Validation Notification, does this effect the ability to download the other non-validation related updates, such as Office, non-important updates, and Hardware patches.

     If it doesn’t, then it will not really effect the way Windows operates…

     But if it does, is there anyway you can just download the ones you want from Microsoft Knowledge Base or some third party server?

     Ive found that the majority of the updates are not really needed…how often do we really need to update Windows anyway…

     There’s an officially supported way to turn that 30 day evaluation period into 120 days.You can “re-arm” the trial period for another 30 days, and do so up to 3 times. Here’s how it works:

     1. Click on the start button and type “Cmd” into the Start Search box.
     2. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to open the command prompt.
     3. Type “slmgr -rearm” and hit enter.
     4. Reboot the computer.
     5. Make sure to re-arm the system again 29 or 30 days later.

     Obviously this feature was built into Vista by Microsoft, and the company has confirmed that extending the evaluation period is not a violation of Vista’s end user agreement.

     Here’s a suggestion to those of you who cannot follow instructions: call Microsoft’s support line… haha

     To break the news to everyone, there are several ways to crack Vista – however, since I only do this as “testing” and is purely educational, I will not comment any further. Not to mention that with a cracked version you will probably not be able to get Microsoft’s online updates and support – although I have not tested it. My curiosities simply do not justify getting caught with an illegal version of Vista. Furthermore, they’re called servers; sooner or later your product key will reach Microsoft and, guess what, someone else who purchased a genuine copy, and whose product key you might be using, will have to pay for your idiocy.

     Here are some stats to those of you who posted above to seek help (i.e. to those who cannot follow simple instructions):

     Windows XP was released at the end of 2001. This version lasted approximately 5 years, until Vista was recently released. A copy of Windows XP would have cost you around $150 CAD. That’s around $2.5CAD per month – OR – a whopping $2.10USD (do your own conversion if you don’t believe me). Not to mention that WinXP is still quite usable – although it is inferior to Vista as far as features are a concern. If your goal is to have the latest working Operating System, just go out and buy it. If you’re simply enjoying “testing” software, I suggest you begin to research and read – and you WILL find the answers. But for god sakes, stop asking dumb questions – wasting people’s time and bandwidth.

     If you’re going to test software, do it with care – if you ain’t got the skill, buy a real copy and stop going around posting dumb-a** questions.

     If anyone of u have vista ultimate build 6000 or build 5600 then I have
     permanent crack for u . Just apply timer lock
     If u apply it on 5600 then it will show permanent activation in computer properties and you cannot apply it always ie in my system it worked only twice and after that whenever you perform a fresh installation it will show 15 days as initial grace period.
     but if you apply on 6000 the it will always show 30 days trial
     but confirmed it works always

     Can ANYONE help!?! I installed Windows Vista (FINAL-BILLGATES Edition) and used the RaVen crack, and it worked perfectly until today! I have had Vista installed for months with no problems. My activation status still says “windows is activated,” yet a message just popped up saying I had 13 days left to activate. The crack called for a Beta key (which I had), and everything was great until today! Here is the balloon message that was displayed:

     “Please backup important data from windows: Your license will expire in 13 days.”

     What is going on?! I need a REAL solution. It won’t be long before hundreds of people are scrambling the forums with the same problem.

It’s kind of like the watermark crack issue. There was a script that told Vista to keep the watermark for XX number of days, so I feel that since no one has had Vista installed long enough to see this problem (180 days or so), they didn’t know this type of script existed. I think Vista will continue to “countdown” to 0 days and take no action at all. The question really is: Will this message balloon go away in the next 12 days, or will it pop up “0 days left” forever? Give me your thoughts on this.

     Zazz, I discovered that the same thing happens to me today. It says that my evaluation is over May 31, 2007. I just turned my computer back to 2006 to see if the messages would stop popping up. Apparently they have ceased (although I admit seeing 2006 in the bottom right hand corner is a little annoying at times since i am a perfectionist). I proceeded to turn my computer to 2008 and it said “windows is not activated.” Looking a wrong date beats the hell out of reformatting in my opinion.

     Sorry I wasn’t so clear on my last post. I didn’t actually change any registry or BIOS settings at all. I was just mentioning that I turned my computer date to 2099 from my desktop and rechecked the activation to make sure the ClonY crack worked.

     Everyone,

     If anyone in here has downloaded the Final-BILLGATES version of vista (or any other version for that matter) REINSTALLING Vista DOES NOT REFORMAT your hard drive. It simply moves your existing files to a folder called “Windows.old” located in the C:\. If anyone in here is having problems with activation, REINSTALL vista WITHOUT A KEY and use the ClonY crack. Like I said, all your stuff will NOT be deleted.

     I used this crack on a Windows Vista Ultimate edition and I kept my computer on overnight on May 31st (when the beta key is supposed to expire). At about 15 minutes after midnight, my PC automatically rebooted and I expect that this will happen every two hours as stated elsewhere.

     Oh man go (scagg)! you are the only smart person here i think! i could never put it better than you have! all the problems are allready solved and everything is written down to help us out. all you have to do is just read it all and you will find a perfect sloution. im nt some lasy prick who sits infromt of his computer all day and night. i do the same as all of us. i go on the net for a few hours everyday, and because im beggining to like this site i leave a post here and there when i feele like it. sp people just read everything that is said above and i can promisse you that you will be able to activate your vista. if your trial expired and you cant get into your computer anymore go and get yourself a (timestop crack) and run your computer in safe mode. then patch it with that. please right click on the crack and run it as administrator. let it install on your system and when its done restart your computer. after that you will be able to normally log in to your windows. when you do that get yourself the (paradox) crack and install it. reboot when it asks you to and there your vista is activated and all the updates work! magic! (please note if you have tried using some other crack before and it didnt work then i really dont think that the paradox crack will work. so please those two cracks must be the only two you have ever used on that installation if not and its not working then you will have to reinstall your vista and use those two cracks. it will work for shore ok! so there you go its simple as that. and no stupit questions anymore! if you cant find the links yourself then look above! and you will find them. and dont give me the crap that the links dont work anymore because they do. but if you are dumb anough and you cant find them then just ask and i will post the links. enjoy

It seems that key expired June 1st, oddly, windows still shows that I have 23 days to activate windows, but my systems keeps rebooting with the blue screen error nt_evaluation_period_expired, im assuming this is because of the original beta key that was used to crack vista.      Yes, the crack works. BUT, some of the more recent updates I’ve received have actually checked for the stoptime.sys and thew up a bluescreen after reboot. I’m actually using a valid windows license that I bought, but due to a reinstall I got irritated having to talk to the outsourced microsoft goons about getting me a new license and just used this crack. Microsoft really needs to rethink their security methods, everyone will eventually need to reinstall their OS and its just a pain in the ass trying to talk to some fool half a world away about getting a new serial.

     If anyone out there is using (or tried to use) the Paradox activator (which works phoenominally) but got a BSOD after some updates, I found one issue specific to nVidia chipsets. Vista has an *optional* NVidia nForce PCI System Management driver update mixed in amongst the bazillion other updates.
     For users with this chipset, the driver that i initially installed works perfectly, and after all, this upat is listed as optional. Simply right click this update, and hide it so you won’t inadvertantly install it in the future, and you won’t get the BSOD on Royal.sys anymore. If you are already getting the BSOD, reboot in safe mode, do a regedit and search for Royal.sys, and delete it’s associated registry key. It will appear in 2 – 3 place (usually 3). Then you can reboot in normal mode and either do a system restore to the point before you did the nvdia update, or you can try to uninstall the NVidia update, and then re-install the paradox one-click activator, and everything will work fine again.

     Help! I bought a PC from Ebay and although advertsied with Vista it needed activating! When i tried to do this microsoft wanted £220!      FORGET
     about activation key because you can still use that windows.
     How to access your windows file/folder when your Vista
     ask the activation key after boot the pc? try this!

     (make sure no internet connection)

     choose “Access your computer with reduced functionality”.

     2. Internet explorer will appear with try open the microsoft site.

     3. Go to Tools -> Internet Options

     4. At Internet Temporary Files, choose Setting.

     5. In setting, choose view files. The file folder will appear

     6. Right click at My Document, and choose search..

     7. The search dialog will open together with windows start program. The windows will go to normal but DONT
     close the activation dialog or it will shutdown your pc.

DO NOT GO INTO SAFE MODE you won’t have the permissions to run slmgr.vbs What you do is use the “Access your computer with reduced functionality” IE opens click in the address bar type c:\ when it opens a new windows there will be a search bar on the right click in there and type command prompt this will give you the access that you need to follow the instructions in the readme file of paradox.

     I came to this problem, and all I did was:
     1. Found a crack on the net (look up on this page)
     2. Start with “reduced functionality”
     3. In Internet explorer you don’t need to do stupid stuff, only write in the address bar “c:\”
     4. When “C:\” started, do things you want to, like crack your copy, remove the time act. block etc etc etc
     All I did was: copy the documents that were protected to another partition (or usb flash), and then deleted the win forever, and just installed a fresh copy, now of, windows 7.

     I hope I helped a bit!

     - Do NOT close the process “SLUI.exe” it will log off.
