How to Easily Teach People to Burn Audio CD, ISO and data CD/DVD

This article will show you how you can easily “teach” people how to create Audio CD from MP3, burn ISO images and burn datas to CD or DVD. The reason I say “teach” is because recently I’ve got a friend telling me that he was unable to burn MP3 using Sonic. I personally never had any experience with Sonic, and I don’t want to download the bulky 1GB Easy Media Creator and install it on my computer just to “show” him how to burn MP3 to audio CD.
What I can do is to suggest to him to download a small, free and portable CD and DVD burning software and then teach him how to burn MP3 to audio CD. It’s small and don’t require installation. He can delete it off after using it! Or he can keep it if likes it… Isn’t that a better idea than me downloading Easy Media Creator or asking him to download Nero?
I found a PORTABLE CD and DVD burning software that the file size is ONLY 2.83MB! If you only use software burner just to burn audio CDs from MP3, backing up data, and burning ISO images, this will be much better compared to those bulky software burners such as Easy Media Creator and Nero. It’s FREE and don’t require installation. The interface is quite similar to any CD/DVD burning software. You can either drag the files to burn or simply right click and add the files or folders to burn.
DeepBurner has 3 versions. Pro, FREE and FREE Portable. Pro is the paid version and it contains a little more features than the FREE version. As for FREE, it requires installation and the FREE Portable doesn’t. DeepBurner Free Portable works straight from removable media, whether it’s a USB flash drive, compact flash card, or even a good old floppy.

After I found DeepBurner, I am not going to install Nero in future if I format my computer. Nero 7 is so bulky and contains so many programs that I don’t use. It’s just taking up my hard disk space and also flooding my registry with entries. While DeepBurner is small and does it jobs pretty well. So if you can “teach” people how to burn audio CD, ISO or data CD/DVD, that means you’ve already know how to do it.

I think I will stick with CDBurnerXP Pro.
SilentNight’s Microburner is more or less the same thing. Version 2 does data cd/dvd’s and builds/burns iso’s all in a 784 KB package, completely free. Version 5 added a slicker interface, as well as some additional functionality (disc-to-disc, backups, a cover creator, and UDF burning ) for the registered version, 1.16 MB small. Version 6 has full functionality in the unregistered version and full Vista compatability, but it added an annoying nag screen – at 1.42 MB it’s the first one that doesn’t fit on a standard floppy. It also appears to have marked the end of the main site hosting the “retro” version 2, but there are probably still copies floating around.
