Since there is CPU-Z, someone also created a similar tool called GPU-Z. GPU-Z is a lightweight utility designed to give you all information about your video card and GPU. The graphical user interface looks pretty much similar to CPU-Z.

Features of GPU-Z:
# Support NVIDIA and ATI cards
# Displays adapter, GPU and display information
# Displays overclock, default clocks and 3D clocks (if available)
# Validation of results
# No installation required
# Support for Windows 2000 / XP / Vista (both 32 and 64 bit versions are supported)
GPU-Z don’t have the feature where you can save the information of your GPU in text file like what CPU-Z can do. But if you click on the validation tab and click on the Submit button, it will submit your GPU information to TechPowerUp website. You will then get a validation link such as “http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/xxxxx“. You can give the validation link to people that need your GPU information. However I am not sure how long will the validation link last…
Do take note that GPU-Z is a very new utility and still in BETA. It’s only at version 0.0.6 and it doesn’t even have its own custom icon. So there might be some problems. If you found any bugs on GPU-Z, please report it to GPU-Z forum.
