If you don’t want to try those security extensions on your Firefox browser because it might affect your browser speed, then I suggest you to install it on a Portable Firefox. This way you can have a clean and fast Firefox for browsing and then another Firefox for security auditing. Do take note that you can only run either the installed Firefox on your system or the Portable Firefox at a time.
So which is your favorite Firefox security extension featured in FireCAT?

nice post again…tnx for all of the infos..and downloads you post here….
It is actually not true that you can only run one or the other. It is possible to launch Firefoxportable and your local installation of firefox at the same time. The Firefox Portable Launcher will look for an ini file called FirefoxPortable.ini within its directory. Read the readme.txt located in “FirefoxPortable\Other\Source” and edit the “FirefoxPortable.ini” and change “AllowMultipleInstances=false” to “AllowMultipleInstances=true” and copy it where the FirefoxPortable.exe is located.
Rudy, I’ve tried doing that. I launch FireFoxPortable first, then indeed I am able to run the local installation of firefox. But then the local version of firefox loads the exact same thing as the portable version…
What do you mean? Like the same profile or does it load the same websites? It is working fine on my machine and it doesn’t matter which version of firefox I start first. The local installation is for other family members and I have the portable running with my profile. And as far as I can tell they don’t interfere at all.
So i see on the bottom of this page some links but that only keeps getting me back on this page..
Where can i found a Tribal wars BB code plug in for Firefox ?
I use to have it but then reinstalled my OS and lost the bloody thing..it is very useful!
Hello,
a comment to signal you that most extensions enumerated in FireCAT 1.4 can be found in a package on phrack.fr:
