Here is another free file hosting website that is similar to RapidShare but it has an extra feature which most file hosting websites doesn’t have. It is able to set an expiration limit ranging from 30 minutes to 1 week to the upload file. Unlike RapidShare, as long as the file is being downloaded within 90 days, the files will be kept in RapidShare’s server.
This service is good for people that wants their files to be hosted for a certain time.
Senduit is a simple, i mean REALLY simple file hosting website. When you visit Senduit, the only thing you see there is the logo with step 1 and step 2, a button for you to browse the file that you want to upload, a drop down menu for you to set the expiration time, and of course the BIG upload button.

To upload, click the Browse button, select the file that you want to upload, select the expiration time from the drop down menu for your link, and click Upload. Once finished uploading, you’ll get a link which is short and resembles a TinyURL address such as http://senduit.com/xxxxxx. If you think that uploading to Senduit is easy, wait till you see how easy it is to download. Just visit the link in your browser and it will automatically start downloading in 4 seconds. No need to wait for available slot, no need to enter CAPTCHA code, you don’t even need to click any button!
Senduit also supports resume although it did not mention this on its website. I’ve tested with FlashGet and Orbit Downloader and both is able to resume without problems. I’ve also done another test to see if I was able to continue downloading the files when it has expired. I paused the download, waited 30 minutes for it to expire, then I resume downloading. FlashGet was unable to resume downloading and gave me the error message “HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden”. I manually visited the link using my browser and I got the message “Access Denied, Request has expired”.

One thing they can improve is to display the actual progress of upload because now it only shows the message “Upload in progress. This may take a moment.“.

Actual progress upload meter gives us an estimated time of when will the upload be completed but without it, we can never know especially uploading a 100MB file.
In short, what I like about Senduit is the simplicity of the website and also the download speed. No registration required, no waiting time for users to download, fast download speed, and the extra feature of automated expired links.

This wil be useful
I hate rapidshare and it’s waiting time. I thinks it’s time for everybody to boycott rs so that it will be free again.
yeah right..
I’ve been noticing that there’s a lot of “trackback”. I think I might just disable it from showing.
