   hey ray. iv been using your tips for quite a while, and have been greatfull of your tips for a long time. espicaly from the myspacemp3 one. well, at least while it worked

   however their is another way now – much simpler than all this and free

   if you use firefox, simply add the “video downloadhelper” add on.

   its proved usefull to e ever since myspacemp3 shut down.

   video downloader for firefox doesnt work anymore

   i use the updated version of youtube downloader instead

   this site is very useful, and yet again another amazing discovery by raymond!

    File2HD.com doesn’t seem to work with imeem.com and other music/video websites that use “anti-leech” technology. My favorite way for downloading from myspace.com, imeem.com, last.fm, etc. is the free program “free music zilla” (www.freemusiczilla.com or download.com)–it can do it despite any anti-leech strategies by the website.

    There are some sites that use the “rtmp” protocol to stream their audio/video (such as finetune.com), and the only free downloader program that I have found that can handle rtmp streams is Orbit Downloader (see download.com).

    If anybody has found an even better free downloader that can handle rtmp streams I would be interested to know.

    another alternative would be using the combination of Grab++ and Orbit Downloader which is freeware.

    Grab++ is a component of Orbit and acts like video downhelper

    and Internet Download Manager is also able to capture the myspace mp3 for download before the player starts to stream the song

    lastly the easier way would be using the firefox add-on video downloadhelper, like the most of the others have suggested

    For all those wanting to download off of http://www.purevolume.com

    Open the Grab++ in Orbit

    Download the file and

    Save the file as .m4a

    The file usually looks like this (With different numbers and letters)

    “728690595e92a599f867ef348943cbcbc5c30c5e.m4a”
    (You can rename it to whatever .m4a after the download)

    Sometimes it takes some playing around with, try to not already have the song in your cache (That seems to add some issues with me)

    I can’t get music off of purevolume, and its not a big deal and all but they have some songs that are demos and you can’t find them anywhere else, I know that dude said you could use orbit, but it doesn’t work, does anyone know how to get the songs, even if its illegal?

    It says that MySpace MP3 Gopher is no more in the article and then right below it says so use Replay Media Catcher but its not freeware… then right below THAT it says (under related articles) MySpace MP3 Gopher is now Replay Media Catcher . so uhhh what did you tell us? or was this so we would comment blog the truth and help each other out?

    This site works if you paste the correct urls in there. The way I have been able to get into areas that others are saying you cant is by starting with the page and bring up all files and look for any sub directories that have the audio in and the repaste that url in the box. 15gb of music dled from that site in a day.

    files2hd became a bitch and does not allow any free downloads from myspace anymore. Fuck them.
