The good thing about RapidShare is they have a built-in downloader called Remote Uploads. RapidShare Remote Uploads feature allows you to copy files quickly and easily from other servers directly into your RapidShare Premium sector. I’ve managed to get Megaupload files into my RapidShare premium account with Remote Uploads feature and the good news is this method also works for files hosted at FileFactory. It could probably work with a lot more one-click file hosting websites, so do let me know if you know any.
There are some guides saying that you do not need a Megaupload premium account but during my test, I could not get the file downloaded to RapidShare using Remote Uploads feature without a Megaupload premium account. Weirdly it worked only once without using a premium account and then it never work again.
1. Log in to your Megaupload Premium account and DISABLE Direct Downloads.
2. Open a Megaupload link in your browser. Right click on the Download File button and select “Copy Link Location”.
3. Log in to your RapidShare Premium or Collectors account. Click the Remote Uploads link.
4. Paste the full Megaupload link to the box and click the Add button.
I noticed that the full megaupload link generated for free and premium users are different. Look at the screenshot below. Both links are generated at the same time and the first link that shows Downloading is the one that is generated with a premium account. The second link that says “Download error! File not found?” is generated without a premium account.

It seems like the megaupload link for free users remembers IP address. What I meant is the IP address of the person that requested the file for downloading must match the IP address of the downloader. But when you request the link from a megaupload premium account, anyone can download the file even if the IP address don’t match.
I believe other one-click file hosting websites such as FileFactory and etc does the same thing. Yesterday also I tried downloading FileFactory links to my RapidShare account via free user and it worked! However when I try it again today, it only downloaded a 31KB file which is the HTML page of FileFactory website. In short, in order to transfer files from one file hoster to another, you will need a premium account for both sites.

Its also handy to have a good stro to do direct to rapid since all the work done for you if you got good stro speeds that also helps.
Nice share. I discovered this a few days back when i tried it. Anyway, thanks for the share.

Some hosters generate DL-Links which are only valid for one DL or for a short time so that you can’t use the link a day later.
btw.: Do you know already ShareLinkDevil ?
iSLD is a link-checker/extractor for meanwhile more than 400 Hosters and more than 300 Services like redirectors and so called ‘Link-Protectors’
Wow! This is really good information. I was really scared that I could not backup my files from MU to RS.
Thanks a lot!

hi, i dont think that you can upload remotely from filefactory to RS. i have premium accounts at both and can only do RS-filefactory. i have even tried the direct download links, trafficshare links and the ‘temporary’ download link but none work. also it explicitly says in the FAQs that remote uploading is not possible even for premium members!

Yep, it works great! Thanks a lot man.
can’t get MU to RS to work .. got 33 file only :(
The way to do it without premium account is starting the normal download process, waiting the 24 seconds and then copying the long link on the button but without press the button, only taking his link (and pasting it in the remote uploads window on rapidshare, or course).
Hi Raymond,
Currently I have Rapidshare and Megaupload and I’m looking for a 3rd choice for storing my files.
I would like to know if it is possible to do direct uploads from Mediafire to Rapidshare and from Mediafire to Megaupload.
Thanks!
