If you’ve installed the latest version of FlashGet v1.8 Beta 1, you’ll notice that it can support download torrent files which is great news to all torrent downloaders! However, because it’s still in Beta, I wouldn’t want to download torrent files using FlashGet. I prefer to use the smallest torrent client which is µTorrent. Problem is, when I installed FlasGet 1.8 Beta 1, it overwrites the default file opener or handler association for .torrent files with FlashGet. I checked the options on FlashGet and found a box where I can uncheck to disassociate FlashGet with .torrent file. After unchecking the box, weirdly FlashGet will again overwrite the default .torrent file association to FlashGet even though I’ve disabled it.

If you’ve encountered this problem, read on for a fix on how to stop FlashGet from overwriting your default .torrent association.

There are easily hundreds of torrent tracker sites and I’ve introduced a software that auto search for torrents on multiple sites without going site after site to perform a search. There are also quite a number of PRIVATE bittorrent tracker sites which has a lot of fast seeders and the download speed can easily maxed out your download bandwidth. I’ve got an account on TorrentBytes before, that’s why I know. However, these private torrent tracker sites are very strict. You MUST maintain a good ratio in order to continue being a member of that site. When it drops below 0.5, you account will be banned. Problem is, the sign-ups don’t come by very often and you wouldn’t know when they will open their bittorrent tracker site for registration. Here’s how you can automatically check for registration openings on a whopping “66″ torrent tracker sites!

Outsourced is the long awaited stand-up comedy CD by Canadian and international comic Russell Peters. The seventy minutes on this comedy CD feature, unless you were at the show or have seen Russell Peters very recently, all new material and a clear intention by this stand-up comic to reach a world-wide audience. Outsourced is simply brilliant.

It is about time Russell Peters released a stand-up comedy CD and DVD. He has been thrilling crowds for quite a few years and has amassed quite a faithful following. This, in part, is due to one of his Comedy Central shows being made available on the internet which allowed many people around the world to discover this very talented, sometimes daring, highly personable, and extremely funny comic.
