Megaupload download slot hack
Usually when I tried to downloading something from Megaupload with the URL http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XXXXXXXX, I will get the message saying “All download slots (100) assigned to your country (Malaysia) are in use. Please try again later.”
I never really like to use Megaupload because I NEVER once in my life got in the assigned 100 download slots.

Yesterday I really needed to download a file from Megaupload and again I wasn’t able to because of the full 100 download slots. I tried searching for the file I need in other locations but couldn’t find it. I’ve got no choice but to wait and see if I had the luck to get in the 100 download slots. I refreshed my browser every 5 minutes for an hour hoping to get in the download slots, but still couldn’t.
I gave up, and started searching for other alternatives which is to bypass megaupload’s download slot.


After looking around, I found a lot of hacks and methods to bypass megauploads download limits. Tried a few and couldn’t get it to work. Finally I found a tool called Megaupload/Share.am Link Grabber which is able to get the full megaupload download link automatically and send the download link to my download manager FlashGet.

I went to the original website and downloaded the latest version which is version 5.
After download, you’ll get the file MegaShareLink5.0.zip. Extract the MegaShareLink5.0.zip file and you’ll get GetLink5.exe.
Run GetLink5.exe and paste the Megaupload download link to the first box where it says “Megaupload / Share.am / Sexuploader link:” and click on the Get Link button.
For a few seconds, it will display the Filename, Filesize and Description of the file hosted in Megaupload. Wait for a few more seconds, at the bottom status bar, it will say “Waiting for link: 45 seconds“. After 45 seconds, your download link appears. You can either copy the megaupload download link to your favourite browser to download or if you have Flashget, you can click on the button “Send to Flashget”.

Megaupload/Share.am Link Grabber v5 also works with Share.am and sexuploader.com. I personally don’t recommend you to host your files in Megaupload. The download speed is slow and the download slots if always full. It takes a more advance user to search around for alternative way to download files from megaupload.

      this tool does not work for me. i am behind a proxy and when i enter the proxy settings into the settings it says “no response from proxy, or proxy error”. does anyone know how to fix this error

      Well, here’s a 100% functonable trick for Megaupload users who use Firefox

      -Go to the address bar and type: about:config
      -Look for this command: general.useragent.extra.firefox

      -Double click it…
      -Replace the text with this one: Firefox/2.0 MEGAUPLOAD 1.0

      -Press OK…
      -As easy as that! Now you can download without any limits… and it works whenever Megaupload tells you there are no slots available for your country! Very Happy

      I tried to use hack (Get Link) and i already typed in the megaupload website but when i click get link it said that i have a “Bad Link”. Why did this happen can you tell me how to fix it

      Hey, i’ve tried yor trick for the slot limit, and it surely works. But i’ve got another problem wit Megaupload.com. I always use FLASH GET to download from megaupload coz it can resume broken downloads. Once i’ve completed a download & want to do another one, I get the following error message in FlashGetL “HTTP/1.1 503 Limit Exceeded.Retry After 120″.

      Some1 pliz help me out here.

      if u have dsl then u can just reset the modem and then log back in which will give u a new ip adress which makes megaupload believe that u r a different person which will allow u to continue to download

      now u will see many public proxy server…

      2nd, u open ur web browser (IE,Mozilla,Opera,GreenBrowser,etc….)..for me i prefer Opera..

      get into ur browser’s ‘Preference’..(for Opera, u press ‘Ctrl + f12′ )..

      now edit ur proxy server—>> in “‘HTTP Proxy” , key in any ‘IP’ and ‘PORT’ that u get from the publicproxyserver.com…now close that ‘Preference’ and enter the link u want to download (if the ip still blocked, try to enter other IP and PORT—>> for me i prefer IP from south africa and united state)

      Guys, I’m using Megaupload for downloading, and it’s working fine. First of all you have to have two programs, for those of you who don’t know. Mega Manager, and Megaupload toolbar. The toolbar has to be activated in you browser and in the options of Mega Manager you have to integrate it into your browser.
      Then when you want to download a file it will automatically open it in Mega Manager. If you’re not a premium member (which is worse than being just registered) you can download only one download at a time or you can hack with the program explained in this post. And considering the waiting time it’s not such a big problem waiting couple of hours before you can download again.

      If you want to know more detailed explanation of integrating or where to find the programs, you can send me an e-mail on fallen66angel@net.hr and I’ll explain it step by step.

      Well, not anymore…
      Everyone here is talking about how to download using download manager and set up many links to download it. Also, everyone here want to download multiple files at once.

      And about having two programs of Megaupload? I’m pretty sure you’re a bit wrong. Having only MegaManager setup installer can install both the Manager and the Toolbar for you. I’m using it, but actually I’m getting sick of just waiting hours when there a chance to download in minutes, or even seconds!

      There is a way you can download files, one right after another. If you have a DSL router modem (I have it) you can download one file and when it’s finished, just disconnect and connect back on. You will have a different IP address so you can download again.
