Last moment went to the cinema to watch any movies yesterday and ended up buying The Pink Panther movie tickets because the good seats are still available. From young, I always thought that the Pink Panther is actually a pink coloured panther detective. After watching this movie, I was wrong. It has NOTHING to do with a panther!

CinemaOnline gave this movie 4 out of 5 stars and IMDb has a total of 4.7 out of 10 from 2,239 votes. Looks like Malaysians liked the stupidity of Inspector Jacques Clouseau where the rest of the world don’t really think so.
I must admit that the second half of the show is better than the starting. IMHO, it’s a watchable movie…

CinemaOnline has 3.5 out of 5 stars for this movie and IMDb currently has 4.4 out of 10 from 1,201 votes. For me, I’d personally give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars. I don’t know why is this movie rated lower than I expected, but I kinda liked this movie. It’s entertaining, funny and also shows how important a happy family is. A few of my friends told me that this is a nice movie as well. So go watch before this movie stops screening at cinema.

Peter Jackson’s movie, King Kong, I’d say is one of the best movie I’ve ever watched. The effects were very good and everything looked so real! Not only that, this movie has some part that is so touching that can make a girl cry. CinemaOnline has 4.5 out of 5 stars for this movie and IMDb currently has 8.1 out of 10 from 1,805 votes. For me, I’d personally give this movie a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Synopsis
While filming on location at the mysterious Skull Island (near Sumatra) a group of filmmakers discover a giant gorilla named Kong, living in a massive jungle where creatures from prehistoric times have been protected and hidden for millions of years. As they search for the great ape, their quest puts them up against both Kong and his dinosaur enemies. A movie that must be watched, especially in cinema to really feel the effects. Frankly speaking, I wasn’t so interested in this movie at first and didn’t even plan when to watch this movie. So happened that my friend was sick and asked me whether I’d like to have his tickets. Well, what else? I just took it, watched it and never regret doing that. I think the DVD will start selling after 3-6 months time and I’d definately get one. Maybe there is an extended uncut version such as Lord Of The Rings where the movie will be more than 3 hours.

Take note that this movie is 3 hours and 8 minutes long.

Watched The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe yesterday and it wasn’t as good as I’ve expected. I do agree with CinemaOnline that the cast doesn’t score so high for the movie. This movie will be much better with a macho guy. IMDb currently has a total of 7.5/10 from 1,864 votes while CinemaOnline only gave 3 out of 5 stars. As for me, I’d would give this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Watched Zathura yesterday and it was worth watching it. The movie is funny, the boy is cute and most importantly, it has morale values that teaches you how to treasure your brother. IMDb has a total of 5.9/10 from 862 votes, CinemaOnline gave 3.5 out of 5 stars. As for me, I’d would give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.                                          

Synopsis
Two brothers discover an oblong box in the park, which they dismiss as “just some dumb old game.” The boys turn their attention away from the game’s “jungle adventure” board to discover a second game board inside with an outer-space theme and a colored path leading to the purple planet, Zathura. Mayhem ensues each time one of the boys draws a game card or rolls the dice. Facing meteors and giant robots, the brothers begin to appreciate each other and their sibling rivalry dissolves.

You’ll like little Danny (Jonah Bobo) and older boy Walter (Josh Hutcherson) for their endearing qualities (in spite of the bickering), and for acting and reacting like real brothers. In fact, their squabbling has such conviction that parents in the audience will surely say with wry recognition, “Uh-huh, they sounds just like my children.”

If you liked “Jumanji”, “The Polar Express”, “The Iron Giant”, you’ll enjoy Zathura as well.

So what are you waiting for? Go watch this movie and trust me, it’s worth the money!

Phew, every year there’s a new Harry Potter movie. It’s kinda like watching Harry Potter growing up. Believe it or not, he’s the youngest kid that has the most money! The day I went to watch this movie, it was full house in the cinema.
IMDb currently voted this movie 8.0/10 from a whopping 14,201 votes and CinemaOnline gave 4.5/5.

Synopsis
The pivotal fourth novel in the seven-part tale of Harry Potter’s training as a wizard and his coming of age. Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to dream about Cho Chang (Katie Leung), his crush (and maybe do more than dream). He wants to find out about the mysterious event that’s supposed to take place at Hogwarts this year, an event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn’t happened for a hundred years.
He wants to be a normal, fourteen-year-old wizard. Unfortunately for Harry Potter, he’s not normal, even by wizarding standards. And in his case, different can be deadly.

**I personally did not like this movie so much although the effects are getting better and better every year. It’s the story line that bores me. Imagine sitting 2 Hours 35 Minutes at the cinema and there’s no ending at the end.

Chicken Little: Erm… What are we talking about? (HAAAA HAAA)
A very entertaining Disney’s first non-pixar 3D film cartoon movie.
This cartoon is mostly funny, partly touching and the characters like to karaoke!
IMDb currently voted this movie 6.0/10 (360 votes) and CinemaOnline gave 3/5.

Synopsis
Remember the phobic little chicken who thought the sky was falling? Well, things didn’t turn out so well for the little chicken. After an ugly spectacle caused by the whole ‘the sky is falling’ episode, Chicken Little is now infamous for it and everyone in his hometown is making fun of him.

What hurts him the most is that his father was embarrassed of what happened and all Chicken Little wants is to make his father proud of him. Just when things finally seem to look better, Chicken Little finds out that the sky really IS falling and it’s now up to him to save the world!

Guys should bring your girlfriends and parents should bring their children to watch this movie. Worth the money!
