Thanks a lot ! Everything’s working just fine!
As i remember, the bat didn’t support gmail in previous versions. Luckily my new fresh 4th version does.

Is it true many people silently drop TB emails by merely reading the Xmailer header?

It has been said that effective spammers use TB as their weapon of choice. Now TB appeals to me for many reasons but it also seems to be good at doing bulk emails (not spam). Where can I find out how to do this plus many of the automating macros that The Bat is so good at?

By the way, if you go to The Bat Users Distribution list and ask any questions or discuss anything like this, the moderator is likely to just drop your posts. Quite a dictatorship they have there! Hopefully I can still communicate with other TB users without using the dictatorial users list.

Also. I tried many times to get Gmail to work with IMAP, but it seems they still have some issues. Can you publish settings on that please.

Problem is… Every spam assassin in the world marks you up in your spam probability if you use the bat. Many people (like myself) receive absolutely NO emails from the bat at all. We search the xmailer property of the header and just drop the email silently.

Many people who\\\\\\\’s ISPs run spamassasin at the perimeter have absolutely no control over what gets whitelisted, and what doesn\\\\\\\’t.

Using the bat is just plain stupid.

Go get thunderbird.
