a comment to signal you that most extensions enumerated in FireCAT 1.4 can be found in a package on phrack.fr:
phrack.fr/tools/FireCAT-1.4.tar.gz

Hello,<br

Like the same profile or does it load the same websites? It is working fine on my machine and it doesn't matter which version of firefox I start first. The local installation is for other family members and I have the portable running with my profile. And as far as I can tell they don't interfere at all. :)

What do you mean? Like the same profile or does it load the same websites? It is possible to launch Firefoxportable and your local installation of firefox at the same time. The Firefox Portable Launcher will look for an ini file called FirefoxPortable.ini within its directory. Read the readme.txt located in "FirefoxPortable\Other\Source" and edit the "FirefoxPortable.ini" and change "AllowMultipleInstances=false" to "AllowMultipleInstances=true" and copy it where the FirefoxPortable.exe is located.

It is actually not true that you can only run one or the other.
