To be called portable all components of the program must be self contained, and do not rely on what components are installed, or allowed ro execute, on target computer. Ideally, there should not be any change to the registry, but hey, I am not picky. I call HijackThis portable, but it is "auto installed" in the system :(. I agree with post #3.

And here was I thinking only I had discovered this great tool a few weeks ago...ben recommending it everywhere since! Brilliant stuff and, for the record, I have tried them ALL and none of the others have the simple function that this one has. It does what you want it to do and does it really well.
