I was able to use unlocker to delete one of the three primary directories in the tree. if I so much as let the mouse pass over the icon for any of these or the directory above it it will close explorer within 20 seconds. explorer will then restart without an error message. if I click delete before explorer crashes a prompt comes up asking me if I want to permanently delete them because the file names are too long then it brings up a file transfer graphic that doesn't move followed by explorer crashing and restarting. very odd.. so I can't seem to get rid of 11 gigs of garbage that I can't even access let alone delete.
