Seems like the whole world is talking about the Panda Internet Security 2010 free license and also the Kaspersky Internet Security offer during Windows 7 launch parties. While I am writing this in the morning of 22nd October, there is still no update on the Kaspersky and Panda offer page. I do not put too much hope on these 2 offers because most probably there are restrictions such as you must have a House Party account which is for US people only. Instead of posting the same thing that has already appeared on probably thousands of websites, here is something different which is download your free 1-year license of a-squared Anti-Malware 4.5!
I will try to keep this as short as possible because in a few hours I will be taking a plane back to my hometown for my mum’s birthday. The steps are very similar to the ones I’ve posted before but this time it requires an extra step. Continue reading to find out how you can get your free 1 year a-squared Anti-Malware genuine license.
1. Go to http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/account/ and signup for an account. Just enter your name and email address.
2. Check your email address and you should get an email from Emsi Software (automail@www.emsisoft.com) with the subject Your user account information – Requires verification. Note down your password.
3. Go to this web proxy http://www.german-proxy.de or
http://www.proxy-service.de
4. Copy this link http://cc.emsisoft.com/en and paste it to the proxy’s URL box and click GO.
5. Login with the details that you’ve noted earlier.
6. Once you are logged in to the customer center, click on Manage Licenses on the left sidebar.
7. Then click on the link that says “Get license by coupon code”
8. Paste the following coupon code without any quotes or spaces “kam-nef-max-558” and click the Convert button. Your account will now show that you have a full version of a-squared Anti-Malware assigned to it.
9. Download the full version of a-squared Anti-Malware 4.5 and install. After installation, you will be prompted to enter an account to login. Enter the same email address and password that you entered in Customer Center on the program and click Log in. You now have a full version of a-squared anti-malware valid for 1 year.
If you didn’t know, a-squared Anti-Malware has been ranked number 1, achieving the highest detection rate on malwares compared to other antimalware programs. However it’s memory usage is a little high as well. No matter what, quickly grab your license before this offer is gone again. Perhaps in their next release v5 they will have something which is lighter in system load.

The code you mention was actually included in a german magazine called Chip earlier this year. Therefore you need an IP originating from one of the german speaking countries (Austria, Swiss, Germany, Liechtenstein). The easiest way to achieve this would be by using a german proxy server. One is mentioned above. There may be others. So everyone who gets an error: Use a german proxy.
Beside that … they actually toned down the ressource usage in one of the last updates. You may want to take a look at it again, Raymond.
