Few days ago Kaspersky 2009 product was released and I was excited as hell to give out free Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 license key to my subscribers. I have the 30 KIS license keys with me and it’s ready to be given out next week. Nearly 300 applicants has taken part in the draw. What if I tell you that there is no need for me to give the 30 KIS license, and all 300 of you, including the ones that haven’t taken part can now get it yourself for FREE!

Do you all still remember the article on how to obtain free 1 year Kaspersky Anti-Virus genuine license key for everyone which I posted 3 months ago? I am sure it has benefited hundreds, if not thousands of people for this free KAV license. However, the promotion only lasted a few days which wasn’t long enough for more people to get the free license key.

Listen carefully people and BE FAST because here is another trick that allows ANYONE to get free 1 YEAR Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 license key which can be used on 3 computers!


Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 is the all-in-one security solution that offers a worry-free computing environment for you and your family. It has tons of features which is capable of protecting your computer from old, current and future security threats.

1. Go to this page and click the blue link that says “To get free protection, go to the Kaspersky Barclays offer page“.

2. Select your title, enter your first name, last name and REAL email address. As for Online Banking membership number, enter 12 digit number that starts with 2010. An example of the 12 digit online banking membership number format is 201056789112.

3. Now check the email address that you’ve entered earlier. You should get an email from Kaspersky Lab (pleasedonotreply@kasperskylab.co.uk) with the subject “Register with Kaspersky”. If you didn’t get it, check your spam/junk folder. Click the activation link at the bottom of the email.

4. Your default browser will open. Click the Next button to submit your email confirmation ID.

5. Check your email again. You should get another email from Kaspersky Lab (pleasedonotreply@kasperskylab.co.uk) with the subject “Your Kaspersky Activation Code and download instructions”. Note down the activation code. That’s the genuine license key for Kaspersky Internet Security 2009.

6. Download latest Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 8.0.0.357 and install.

7. Follow the instructions and when you get to the part where it ask you to activate the application, click Activate online. Just paste the activation code and click Next. You might need to create an account with Kaspersky as you’re entitled to product technical support. Enjoy having Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 on your computer for 365 days without paying a single cent!

These companies must be on your email list judging by how quickly they close their back doors !!!!!It can only have been an hour or so after getting your mail that I (YET AGAIN) failed to make it work. I couldn’t get past the enter Barclay’s online banking code. Obviously I tried the one you illustrated and then 20 random ones of my own – and yes they all had the prefix you advised. Nope – just advised me to contact Barclays online help. Either you are being unnecessarily cryptic in your instructions – OR I am as thick as 4 short planks – OR they (Barclays / Kapersky / etc) are monitoring you. Yes strange all this happened within days of you making your “generous” offer.

      It’s oft-repeated, but I’d say (there’s nothing else I can say) that you’re the best!

      However, only you can answer (under today’s post) my questions, though:

      (1) In another blog, which occasionally reprints and generously acknowledges yours, I downloaded from that Barclays-Kaspersky link the file kis8.0.0.357en.exe, which appears more recent than the kis7.0.1.325en.exe that I got from the link you provided. What’s the difference, or would it make any, whichever I install?

      (2) I still have 213 DAYS left in my current ZoneAlarm Anti-Virus 7.0 subscription, which as everybody knows integrates the superior Kaspersky Anti-Virus protection. I have an excellent combination of Internet security software already installed and running. Will the KIS activation code that I got still work if I wait and use it only when my ZA AV account expires?

      @Junn, I’d advice you to install the latest kis8.0.0.357en.exe because it is much faster and better enhancement compared to the previous version. I am not sure if the KIS code must be activated within a certain time or not…

      @ozziemozzie: Unfortunately googling for Raymond doesn’t appears to be me :( But the term “Everybody Loves Raymond” will do ;)

      I am using the KAV7.0 with the activation key which obtained from the website that Raymond posted last few months. I still have 264 days remaining for the KAV7.0. On the other hand, I got my KIS2009 activation code as well according to Raymond\’s steps mentioned above. The things is, I am afraid that when I wait until my KAV7.0 expire than I start use KIS2009, will the activation code still applicable and of course I hope so. I have a question, if I want to install the KIS2009, will it automatically detect my pre-installed KAV7.0 and do an upgrade on it and thus extend my activation of Kaspersky product?

      Ray, downloaded the \’kis8.0.0.357.exe\’ file. Got the KIS activation key. Later i noticed that the gateway for download has been closed. And i don\’t think, there is no point in installing the KAV software. Because they may have blocked all the activation process now itself. Thanks.

      it probobly got closed because people were taking so many licences. It would be very suspicous to Kaspersky that suddenly they are giving out hundreds of licences when Barclay probobly doesn’t have very many online banking customers.

      I’ve used Kaspersky for years, but now KAV 2009 gives my system Blue Screens of Death. Driver not less or equal problems with fltmgr.sys – Googled it and it seems to be crashing when it tries to scan Deamon Tools virtual DVD among other things. Will have to uninstall it, as on top of it all, it bogs my system when scanning for viruses. Problem is what to put instead. Any ideas?

I have done this many times but still it is not fixed.. how can enable it?       Hello! KIS 2009 – 8.0.0.0.357 abc patched with \\\\\\\”blacklist to whitelist\\\\\\\” by: Ky Kiske doesn\\\\\\\’t work anymore. I\\\\\\\’ve tried to patch it again but it didn\\\\\\\’t work. It seems that \\\\\\\”black*\\\\\\\” = 3 files are still protected, although I\\\\\\\’ve disabled selfe defence. I\\\\\\\’ve tried to delete them manually but it didn\\\\\\\’t work either. Solution/solutions?

      2.Update the version you are using..
      3.In temporary update folder(in where updater downloaded files before update)there’ll be a folder “Bases”..in that folder you’ll find a folder “blst”
      4.Delete that “blst” folder….
      5.Update Kaspersky KIS of KAV from local folder….(i think,you know how to update your kaspersky from local folder)

      HERE IS THE PROCESS…..

      How to configure the product to update from a local folder?

      Once you have downloaded and unpacked the archives, configure the product to update from these folders:

      Open the main application window
      Click the Settings button
      In the left part of the Settings window select Update
      In the right part of the Settings window in the Update settings section click Configure
      Go to the Update source tab
      Click Add
      Specify the update folder
      Click OK
      Clear the boxes Kaspersky Lab’s update servers on the Update source tab
      Click OK
      Run the update process
      Perform the same actions for another folder (if necessary)
