The latest stable Kaspersky 2009 product has finally been released to public! Kaspersky 2009 is actually version 8, but they decided to call it 2009. For those who manage to obtain the free 1 year Kaspersky Anti-Virus license key through a trick I shared with all of you early this year, you can download and install the latest Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 as it will automatically accept your current kaspersky license key.

I have to admit that Kaspersky version 7 does takes up quite a lot of resources. Now I’ve tested both Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and it is much lighter than the previous version 7.       I stopped using Kaspersky with v7 because of the high CPU usage (Went with NOD32 v3 instead) but if the new version is supposed to be lighter on resources…I may have to look into it again…

      You remember you had posted a trick for Kav 7.0 from a Chinese website?
      I had saved the key at that time.
      I installed the old version with this key and then replaced it with Kav 9.0 and guess what it worked for me.
      So I still have 350+ days with me coz I just installed Kav a few days before.

      As You can guess from my email-address I live in Denmark and I CAN NOT order KIS 2009 here – only KIS 7 which You seem glad to leave behind .

      Incredibly, but true; Denmark – one of the leading IT-nations & at the top ten of internet-trade – only get Kaspersky\’s outdated products; probably thanks to the german arvato-systems.de that takes care of international orders !

      It is very weird & unfair; if I live in the two other parts of the danish Kingdom = Faroe Islands or Greenland, I can easily order KIS 2009 ?!?!?

      Raymond, please consider me for a KIS 2009 license (if possible at all because of this international \”black hole\”) or at least draw Kaspersky\’s attention towards this very unjust treatment of Denmark & Sweden too !

      EVERY OTHER country in the world from Afghanistan over Nigeria and Norway to Zimbawe … can get KIS 2009 and we danish & swedish people even have to pay over 40 dollars more, than ANY OTHER country for 1 outdated KIS 7 – license !!!
