    5. Go to http://www.softonic.de/preis-gewinnspiel/weihnachten and note down the Seriennummer displayed at the webpage.

    6. Go to http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/support/register/. Fill up the form and enter the Seriennummer that you got from step 5 into Activation code box. Click Next. If you filled up the form correctly, you should get a thank you page with client number. Note down the client number.

    7. Check your email that you entered in step 6. You should receive an email from yourdetails@pandasecurity.com with the subject Welcome to Panda Security. Note down the username & password, Activation Code and Customer Number.

    8. Go to this page http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/downloads/tree/?sitepanda=particulares and login with the username & password that you got from step 7.

    9. Download Panda Internet Security 2009. You MUST login in order to download or else you will get the error Access Denied.

    10. Open Panda Internet Security 2009 from the system tray, go to Help > Activate the product. Click Next, enter your Activation code, email address and click Next. Make sure Yes is selected when asked are you a Panda Security client. Enter your client number which is actually your “Customer Number” and select your country from the drop down list. Click Next. You will now see that the license expires information stated in the program is one year ahead.

    Yeah I know there’s a lot of step but at least I’ve got all of it written down in order for your convenience. Actually there is another Panda Internet Security 2009 installer (PIS2009esd_MultiIdioma.exe) at step 5 but I am not sure what language or version of Panda Internet Security 2009 is that. I am still downloading and when I’m done, I will update this post if necessary. To be on the safe side, it’s better that we register, activate and download the official Panda Internet Security 2009 installer from the official Panda website.

    Panda Internet Security 2009 runs on Windows XP and Vista (32 and 64-bit) with Pentium 300 MHz or faster CPU and 1GB RAM with TruPrevent enabled. At least Panda is honest in letting you know before hand that it requires a lot of memory to run properly. Go ahead and grab your free Panda Internet Security 2009 license key before this offer expires!

      IMHO, Norton is better than Panda.

      I’ve checked the total memory usage for Panda Internet Security 2009 and it takes up 150MB with 13 processes!

      Hey Raymond, from the screenshot you posted above I can see you found the same error as me. Despite the full update after installing, Panda keep showing its “DANGER” warning.

      Hope you take this shot instead. I don’t think people would appreciate a security program with “DANGER” warning on its interface.

      Got my code, however I tested Panda Antivirus 2009 it slows down your computer, has a high memory usage and detected Bitdefender antivirus 2009 and Rising Antivirus 2008 free setup files as malware:-P
      It’s a good antivirus anyway cannot say the same about the firewall included.

      I’ll wait for your lucky contest and I’ll give Panda IIS 2009 to a friend of mine.

      nod32: use less cpu
      panda: high technology to detect fraudulent website+less positive false+good performance to separate infected codes from software(its a very nice trait, other anivirus delete it posthaste!!!!)
      panda internet security 2009(without firewall) +outpost firewall 2009 is very good coponent…

      Me a new member to the family. Why family. Only in families no money is charged and everything is distrubuted with love.

      Well there is a issue with panda IS. It doesnt download with dap on. It has to be downloaded with a plan browser

      Its all right. I put it on the system I built for my girl and have been testing it up and down against KIS 7 with a few pieces Ive written. It picks up one that Kaspersky 7 misses, but I havent tried it against KIS 2009 yet. It does however miss 3 that Kas doesnt. All in all its by far good enough for the average user.
      The registration problem can be solved by going through the help section in the panda 2009 and activating the product itself on your system, to the panda website.
