I am at a computer at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch New Zealand. It is linked to a server, where many computers are controlled thru. We have Windows software, and internet, email. I was writing a document on Word 2007, accidentally clicked on the wrong thing, and the thing crashed. The word page is frozen with the hourglass and at the top it says not responding. If I press F10 only, the hourglass turns to an arrow, but reverts to an hourglass if then try to click on anything else. This has happened before and cost me hours of work. The Doc is unsaved, and I don't know why Microsoft does this when Apple autosaves, so now I do not want to exit the programme and lose the file, then I have to do it all again. This happened about fifty minutes ago, and I have been spending this time trying to fix it. Irony is, I could have rewritten half of it by now. What can I do ? Thank You. Chris Lilly. Greetings.
