It’s been a long time since I last gave out any genuine software license to my newsletter subscribers. So today I am happy that I have one Nero BackItUp 4 and Nero 9 genuine license key code that cost $49.99 + $79.99 to give away to one of my lucky newsletter subscriber.

The only disc burning software that I use is Nero. I’ve tried Roxio but end of the day I still go back to Nero. No doubt that many of you will agree with me and Nero is a bloatware but if you do a custom installation and only install what you need, then the whole Nero suite won’t take over your computer… If you’d like to have a chance in winning this Nero BackItUp 4 and Nero 9 license key, then please continue reading.


This Nero 9 license lucky draw is only for my newsletter subscribers. If you haven’t subscribe, just enter your email at the top right hand side and hit the subscribe button.

Next, you need to enter the random text characters and hit the Complete Subscription Request button. Finally, you need to check your email inbox for a verification message from FeedBurner’s “confirmations@emailenfuego.com” and click a link listed in this message to activate your subscription. If you got it right, you should see a message that says “Email Subscription Confirmed!” at your web browser.

    • From my desktop computer running Nero Burning ROM 8 in Windows XP SP3, nero.exe process takes up 33MB memory. But on Windows Vista with the latest Nero 9, nero.exe process takes only 29MB. Not much difference but at least it doesn’t take more memory than the previous version. Many people criticized that Nero is a bloatware because it includes way too many extra tools. You can however choose Custom during installation and install only what you need. As for me, I only select Nero Burning ROM, Nero RescueAgent, Nero InfoTool, Nero DriveSpeed and Nero WaveEditor.

    The trial version of Nero 9 (Nero-9.0.9.4b_trial.exe) is a whopping 370MB in size but the retail version of Nero 9 which I am purchasing for the winner will be downloading a 523MB installer. (Nero-9.0.9.4_esd_asknet.exe) I am actually still downloading the 523MB Nero 9 setup file and will report on what is the difference between this one and the trial version. You will need to have Microsoft .NET 3.0 installed in order to run Nero 9.

      As Nero is pirated easily, many users go for pirated ones. This offer would be very useful if the giveaway was for something like KIS or N2009 which is not easily pirated. Anyways thanks Raymond – you do care for your blog readers.

      Best part of nero is the simplified GUI which roxio or other burning softwares out there miss. i have been using nero since 2003 when i first brought the computer and have been loving it since then.       More interested in KIS than Nero, I just installed Nero 9 urg.. takes long…long time to fully install and takes gigs of space, becoming a real bloatware. Sad really my number 1 burner is getting worse than Adobe
