The bad thing is that both ends need to install the program.

Lots of ppl don't have admin rights at work, so they can't use it to acces their pc at home.

Great tool. But not free. After 15 hours activity AMMYY server/router blocks your ID.
Need hack to change ID.
Tried alternative Vindows from boot.ini
Changed SID with NewSID.exe (psGetSID.exe confirms that)
- No effect :(

I have been using different products for remote desktop support for my friends, when I do not feel like driving to their house to work on the computers. Then I tried Admin Ammy, and I will have to say the interface and the ease of use really helps me out especially when I help an individual who has no technical savvy. With the use of Ammy, I was able to help my 70+ year old mother who has no clue about the computer, and was able to get her back up and running in no time. All I have to do is send them a link then have them follow a few simple instructions, and then I am off to working on their machine. For a Free product, this one really is great, thank you so much.

Is it just a coincidence that it is named Ammy and my wife's Name is Amy. When I showed it to her, she said it must work it has her name.

Hi Raymond,

had a look at the soft(ammyy) and to be fair I don't like the idea of downloading exe files and running them (exe are blocked in most companies anyways).

Also with such a fab tools from Microsoft as Remote Assistance, why bother using anything else ?

I came across Remote Web Assistance (from Vedivi) that basically uses Microsoft Remote Assistance without any software installation and connects through firewalls and routers, and automatically manages invitations, emails, etc...

I know about other companies providing their own RA software and things but I really like MS Remote Assistance and most my clients do too.

Would you mind have a look and tell me what you think ? That would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.
