If you’ve downloaded Windows Vista RC1 from Microsoft and having problems in getting the serial number to activate Windows Vista RC1, then please continue reading.
Windows Vista Serial Number activation


1: Windows live account required(a Hotmail email account that has NEVER used to get Windows Vista serial number)

2: Visit this link

  • Log in with your hotmail email account that has never used to get Windows Vista serial number
  • You will see a form, fill up the details properly. Make sure you fill a correct email address as you will get your product key at that email address
  • Keep filling up the required forms and clicking “continue”
  • Check your hotmail and you should get an email from MICROSOFT with the subject “Verification E-Mail”
  • Click on the verification link and you will be brought to a page where it displays the Windows Vista RC1 download links together with Product Key

      no its not an upgrade, anyways, what i got was not. It was the whole vista thing. the serial you get the way described above works. Thank you for that. I dont know where is the catch, mayby it will expire when the official release comes out, I dont know, but it works for now and its easy to get.

      Can you send me a windows vista ultimate rc1 key .. I put a password on my bios for travel and forgot what it was. I tried to cover all angles had postit notes plus sent it to someone else to make sure. Plus put it on the drive just in case. Well .. Someone threw out my notes. And the person I sent it to deleted my mail. I just put it aside for a while to clear my head. I thought it would just come to me one day.. no such luck. Sooooo I took the hard drive to put into a different laptop so I could retrieve the key on the drive. But the OS wants a key. Sure was surprised. It had been a while since I fooled with it.
