My favorite antivirus program is Kaspersky and BitDefender. Last month I’ve given a Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 genuine serial number to one of my lucky subscribers for free. As for this month I will be giving out a 3 computer license BitDefender Antivirus 2008 to ONE of my lucky subscribers. One new and good feature found in the latest version of BitDefender Antivirus 2008 is the gamer mode. Having an antivirus will slow down your computer when you’re playing a very high graphically intensive games on your computer. But with BitDefender Antivirus 2008, simply hit the configured hotkey for GameMode, and it will temporarily modifies protection settings so as to minimize their impact on gaming performance, maintaining a safe, fun gaming experience.

Another reason why I also like BitDefender is because it can detect private viruses which are designed to avoid detected by antivirus program. This means that they have very good and advance proactive technology which can detect virus even if it’s not in their definition.

As usual, I’m giving this free BitDefender Antivirus 2008 cd key to one of my subscribers. If you’ve haven’t subscribe, just enter your email at the top right hand side and hit the subscribe button.

Finally, you need to check your email inbox for a verification message from FeedBurner’s “confirmations@emailenfuego.com” and click a link listed in this message to activate your subscription. There are complete security packages such as Norton Internet Security, Kaspersky Internet Security and BitDefender Total Security 2008 but I still prefer antivirus version because it takes up less resources. I do not want to give out huge and bulky softwares that can “possibly” slow down computers. Moreover, both Kaspersky and BitDefender has very good proactive defense against unknown virus.

      I never took antivirus very seriously until this week when my XP computer was stricken. I could not boot so backed up everything I need zappped the disc reinstalled XP. Now I have to find serial numbers etc and re-install all my programs. Luckily my Linux computer is free from infection and working normally allowing me to continue in touch with the world.
      Could do with a good anti virus program.

      Very knd f you Raymond. I liked the fact it has a game mode. i use Mcaffee wich i like but it drives me nuts that i cannot kill it to play games. MC uses almost 100 megs adn having only 512 that is alot of memory. If i try to shut it down it just restarts.BTW i loggged into the main page and could not access any of the other pages i kept getting a \\\”Cannot find page error\\\”. The only reason i reached this page was i typed in the full URL from the bottom of I.E. I get the same message when clicking the more button in Yahoo mail. Any sugggestions this is an old machine maybe the issue is on MY end. Thanks and keep up the goood work

      Bitdefender “took” me for $69.95 and I feel that people should know to be careful with them. I cancelled my subscription and, three days later, was advised that it was about to be automatically renewed unless I advised them not to. I again canceled and received a message that my subscription had been automatically renewed at a cost of $69.95! Either they don’t pay attention or they are not honorable.
