Items will still be there. Type: About:config in the Navigation Bar Click: I'll be careful I promise when the warning prompts you from Firefox Scroll down to: browser.urlbar.maxRichResults Double Click and Change Default from 12 to 0 This is a way to just remove the list from your toolbar, but will not remove in future if you set it to list again. Type: About:config in the Navigation Bar
Click: I’ll be careful I promise when the warning prompts you from Firefox
Scroll down to: browser.urlbar.maxRichResults

IF you feel uncertain, move it to your desktop or known location and then open your browser and see if that resolved your problem. Done! This is the real fix for you who use Windows XP
