I am having a problem: I had a crash and have two corrupted reg entries in HKEY_USERS.DEFAULT. In PCRegedit I follow: System32configdefault. When I click OK it says it can't read the data. However, when I use regedit in Windows 7 Ult. I can see it ok, but it gives me an error message when I try to delete it. Can someone tell me where I am going wrong? Thanks in advance!

A thousand thanks for the tutorial, I have use PCREGEDIT several times and it is great.
