I’ve got a few emails from my readers asking me how to use CMS The Grabber to bypass Rapidshare’s download limit.
Basically The Grabber bypasses Rapidshare’s download limit by using proxy server address. Sorry I won’t be explaining what is proxy address because it can go on a while for that topic.
Here are the steps on how to use The Grabber.
1. First and foremost before you start downloading anything from Rapidshare using The Grabber, you’ll need a few working proxies. A lot of people are already using this method. So maybe in 10 working proxies, only 1-2 might work since the rest are being used by other people.
Here’s a tip on how to find websites that has proxies. FPL maintains a list of websites and forums that has proxy address. Get FPL’s Default List and Custom list.
There are many sites that gives out free proxies but mostly 80% from the list is unusable. If you keep on trying one by one, it’s going to take a long time. That’s when The Grabber’s Proxy Checker comes in handy.
Copy all the proxies from the list. Select all the proxies and either use your mouse to Right Click -> Copy or use your keyboard CTRL+C. Then go to The Grabber’s Proxy Checker and click on the Import from Clipboard. Then click on Check to scan for working proxies. Once complete scanning, click on Copy valid to Clipboard.
2. Close The Grabber’s Proxy Checker and click on the Edit button from row number 2.
Paste (CTRL+V) all the proxies to that text file and save it. You can check the button where it says “Auto rotate”.
3. Enter any RapidShare link you have on row number 1 and click on “GRAB!” button.
4. Enter the CAPTCHA code you see on row number 4.
5. Wait for a download-ticket to be reserved to you. Usually will take 60-120 seconds.
6. Click on the “Download” button once you see the status below says “Ticket reserved. Press Download button!”. Your file should be saved at your Desktop by default.
Tip: To download another file from Rapidshare simultaneously, just click on the “New Window” and go through all the process again except you don’t need to get anymore proxies. You only need to scan for new proxies if your proxies are unusable.

hi raymond…i just install the cms grabber 1.4.8…however, i can’t download with it coz there are no suitable proxies.. is it very difficult to find the valid proxies???? or maybe i need to change setting of the grabber??? help me…else, i’ll give up with this grabber

Great, so, every proxy CMS Grabber checks either says: Socket Error # 11004, Connect Timed Out, or Socket Error 10061 Connection refused… wtf?
Use proxies to bypass it. Find some good proxies at proxynext.com

Ok so i can get the grabber running but all it does even though I have confirmed all my proxies is spin through them without a downloadable connection.
Also the picture with the code I’m supposed to input does not ever appear so I can;t do that…HHMMM?

how do i disable proxy…and allow interenet connection to firewall
My Captcha is not displaying! I have allowed internet connection to grabber in firewall. Proxies are disabled in internet explorer. After clicked grab button, its saying “Grabbing” for so long. No Captcha
my graber dont have the CAPTCHA image area…=/ this program is not very good…the CMS have another program to download from rapidshare ..it’s the ”rapidishare grab”..
the grab button doesnt work even if i put in the link and an ip, it stays faded out so i cant click it at all anyone know a fix?

You can use php15.com to download from rapidshare, just enter the download URL and click SURF.
It also supports loggging onto orkut, gmail etc, anonymously!
No need to download any software.
For best results, surf using firefox!
