The HDD failed so I swaped an old 20g Gig HDD from old Xbox(connected it to dekstop to unlock it and make it health partition) then downloaded nlite and used it make a workable XP SP3 adding the sata/raid file I also downloaded and placed in a folder in root directory of my current desktop i.e. (c:\XPSETUP) Extra stuff you need to download: 32bit Intel MSM AHCI & RAID driver v8.9.8.1005 mod by Fernando(collection of sata drivers in it) so check you manafactures website on which to use not hard. Using nlite you will add the xp cd service packs if you wish and the sata/driver as no floppy(wake up micro$oft). Use imgburn then to burn it to disc and you need a (setup.ibb) which tells imgburn what to do so no config on our part. Finally you need to add a wxpboot.bin file to imgburn(NB. the setup.ibb file adds a W2k file so change it in imgburn under Advanced/Bootable Disc tab to your wxpboot.bin file you download.
So google Imgburn, setup.ibb, wxpboot.bin, 32bit Intel MSM AHCI & RAID driver v8.9.8.1005 mod by Fernando, all legit and free and all work with xp home/pro or any service pack. I dont have windows sorry.
BTW I didnt click S for Floppy I just clicked 'Enter' for setup, and it just installed.
Could have nearly done a blog on this lol but not taking the light from the author of this post!
Hope this helps :p

Hey, thx worked a treat on my friends laptop and anothers(fujitsu siemens amilo li 2727) had vista pre installed. Copied R82876.exe to a floppy and when the installation asked for it I put it in and all went without problem. Thanks a lot!!!

Worked on a Dell Dimension 8400.
