Microsoft has released a new version of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation version 1.5.530 (KB892130) today.
If you’re using a cracked version of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.5.512 or v1.5.526 to get your Windows Update and download from Microsoft Download Center, I believe it will soon not work for you because Microsoft has updated their Windows Genuine Advantage Validation file to version 1.5.530.
Whenever you visit Windows Update to get updates for your Microsoft Windows, you will get a page asking you to install the latest Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.5.530 (KB892130) before you can proceed.
“The Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool enables you to verify that your copy of Microsoft Windows is genuine. The tool validates your Windows installation by checking Windows Product Identification and Product Activation status.”
I believe the one line of Javascript code you enter before using Windows Update is no longer working.


To check your version of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation:
1. Go to C:\Windows\System32
2. Look for the file legitcheckcontrol.dll
3. Use your mouse to right click on the file and select Properties
4. Click on the Version tab and you will see the version number of your Windows Genuine Advantage Validation file.

eth0, a cracking group has been releasing cracks for Windows Genuine Advantage Validation also started working on the new crack very quickly and now they have Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.5.530.0.CRACKED-ETH0 releasing to the public.

DESPERATE TURK CRACKERS GROUP [DTCG] also released a crack to patch the original LegitCheckControl.dll.

Whiterat from Team ICU also cracked LegitCheckControl.dll and released it to public.

Just extract the LegitCheckControl.dll to your C:\Windows\System32, overwrite the original LegitCheckControl.dll when prompted and you will now have a cracked version of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation which enables you to use Windows Update and also downloading from Microsoft Download Center. It’s that easy!

      Hi,
      Your system worked as posted. I know longer have the blue ICON and constant messages coming up. However, I am still being hit with the “Not genuine ….” message before signing in. I also am getting the . . .do you want to rectify later …” message before logging in to windows. Is there an additional fix for this?

      Dak, I believe Windows Genuine Advantage Validation crack should fix all Windows Genuine notification nag problems. Did you try restarting your computer?

      Where did you get 1.5.532.0? I just checked Windows Update and there is no new Windows Genuine Advantage Validation to install.

      Can confirm M$ have released a new version of LCC.dll file (Ver 1.5.532) this came out 30-05-06.
      Part of KB905474. Seems M$ are updating both KB892130 and KB905474 within days of each other.
      Any help or patch would be appriciated.

      Downloaded the files from Skunky’s FTP and it is 1.5.532.0

      Don’t know why I stil haven’t got any updates from Windows Update site yet…

      Don’t seem to have a
      system32/dllcache folder on my PC.

      Have replaced the other files and windows updates works but no updats so far.
      Maybe M$ are concentrating on WGA too much to fix the other problems in windows. ;)

      Hmmm, i’m thinking i may have done things backwards. I haven’t updated my version of windows for months on end.

      The last time i updated there was a simple bypass to the online validation check by cutting and pasting some text into the browser allowing you to update.

      So 20 minutes ago i went to update and got the message saying that windows needs to install the Genuine validation tool before continuing. I chose not to install it after i read that it gives nags and what not. After mor research, i found this great site followed Raymonds advice (searching for the “legitcheckcontrol.dll” file). I found two instances of the file (one in system 32 folder, another in some other folder), i then downloaded the “ETHO 1.5.530.0 crack” (as that is the version of the legitcheck file that was on my system) and replaced the existing version of the file with the cracked version.

      After that i tried to go and update WIndows and got the “Validation Incomplete: Unable to Perform Validation” message.

      Should i have installed the validation tool that would have given me the nags before i replaced the legitcheck.dll file, or is it something else?

      Can someone please advise?

      Any help is greatly appreciated.

      Maybe not… Mayby Microsoft does not wants you to crack the autentification software. I think you should not do it…Why even use it, i mean, why ? tell me somebody, why?

      i recently got an WGA update on my machine. It seems to be the version 1.5.716.0. Of course it is different from the other versions but iun what way. It is not allowing me to open my media player.

      Im currently trying to update it to media player 11 and see, because i have already killed WGA.

      Just keeping u guys posted, so you’ll come up with a good solution, if there are any major changes to WGA.

      i have downloaded the stupid update and was stuck with the genuine bullshit…..

      but with a lot of search on the internet i have found a way to get it activated as it was before hehehe… so now i have the stupid genuine on my pc but it is activated and i can update again….. :D:D
