I bet you’ve heard numerous of times that a lot of Windows Vista interface is copied from Mac OSX. Want to check out Mac OSX interface yourself but can’t afford one or can’t get the Intel version of Mac OSX installed? Your last option would be to install a Mac OSX theme on Windows.
Here’s one of the best Mac OS X theme for OSX and non-OSX users who want the look of OSX on Windows.
dobee has created an excellent Mac OSX theme called OSX TigerV for Windows.

Features:
Unfortunately, installing the theme is not a one click thing. However, it’s not that hard if you follow the steps below.
1. Download and install Uxtheme Multi-patcher 5.5 (StyleXP would work but because it’s shareware, I’d opt for Uxtheme)
2. Click on the Patch button.

3. Uxtheme will identify your Windows version and confirm.
4. In a few seconds, you’ll get a Windows File Protection popup like the picture below. It is IMPORTANT that you click on the Cancel button.

5. It will again prompt you “Are you sure you want to keep these unrecognized file versions?” Click YES.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Copy the TigerV folder and TigerV .theme files to XP’s default theme directory which is usually located at C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes. You can directly go to the Themes folder by double clicking the “Shortcut to Themes“.
8. Right click on your Desktop and select Properties. Click on the Theme dropdown and you’ll see “Tiger V” in the list.

9. Select Tiger V and click OK button to change your theme to Mac OSX.

Worked perfectly fine for me with no issues. I thought it was a great theme. Not quite as detailed as flyakiteosx but ok nonetheless
if you have done everythin right …n still getiing the error :
error loading theme
the theme could not be loaded because one of the needed theme files could not be found. this can happen with themes that are not installed or authored correctly. you should berify that the wallpaper, screensaver, icons, sounds, and other files are in the correct location ….try this….it should help….
open the tigerv.theme file in wordpad….the default value for icons uses the hardcoded path of C:\WINDOWS…so u can either replace it with %WINDIR% or change it to your windows installation directory…..

Not sure about his one it looks great but Samurize gives me a fair imitation of an OSX Kernel panic ;) so is not for me.
‘Tiger 2′ does a similar possibly more accurate job, I am not sure.

For those that want it all with just one click.
‘Fly a kite’ is a free OSX Tiger Total transformation package. Does everything from Apple boot screen right down the the correct Mac shutdown icon. It’s the full Sunday roast but unfortunately all this quartz/glass/whatever animation stuff is too slow for my aging PC. But it works perfectly and does not mess up Windows, even its uninstaller works perfectly. The authors site is mysteriously down so get it at :

There are also a few for ‘Style XP’ and ‘Windows blinds’ including a Leopard theme but I have not checked them out yet. Both appz are commercial and available at the usual places.
Lest we forget Raymond told us we could install OSX on a PC anyway? JAS has retired but UPHUNK is still hard at it with OX 10.10 and hinting about Leopard which is in Beta. Rumor is they don’t want to release Leopard before Apple does in case S.Jobs. has a sense of humor failure.
