I tryed sharing a folder and then mapping it as a drive but it doesn&#039;t work if you&#039;re not connected to a network.

This way is definetely the elegant way of doing it.

If you&#039;re concerned about the visibility of the share on a network, simply add &quot;$&quot; to the end of the share name and adjust your share permissions.</description>
