Whenever I first open Internet Explorer, it will display in Maximize(full screen) screen.
After browsing some sites, I want to open a NEW Internet Explorer window from the link. (Right Click, Open in New Window)
However, everytime I open a new Internet Explorer window from the first one, the window size is very small and I had to maximize the screen all the time.
This has become extremely ANNOYING and troublesome.
To fix it….
Start Internet Explorer, right click any link on a web page, and select Open in a New Window.
Go back to the first Internet Explorer window you opened and close it.
Return to the second window and manually drag it to fill the screen.
(Do not use the maximize button, for that’s a temporary setting that will not be retained.)
Now press the Ctrl button, and close this second window, holding the Ctrl button depressed, using ‘close’ in the File menu (important!).
All windows should now open maximized.
Well, not really maximized, but at least it’s filling the screen ;)

Thank you So much for the F11 tip! I tried everything…dragging corners, doing fil close with shift, etc etc. The F11 was the only thing that worked!! It was drving me nuts..I appreciate it.
Столько лет в сети, а этого не знал. Я имею в виду “закрытие окна с удерживанием Ctrl”. Хотя перевод машинный, но всё понятно.
Thank you!
Really just close all IE windows, open new, get out of fullscreen, manually fit to screen, maximize to fullscreen, close and you get the same effect, but without so many strange manipulations with two windows.
How about open a browser when it’s at its small size, maximize it, and close it back? Open the browser again, and you should be getting the maximized one.
