.NET Messenger Service hiccup

The .NET Messenger Service has been unavailable for quite a while today, which resulted in automatic disconnects all over the world.
All systems seem to be problematic at the time of writing.

This is the error (81000377) I got when trying to sign in to MSN Messenger.

Checked the .NET Messenger Service status and indeed there’s problem with the .NET Messenger Service.

There’s no workaround to get connect except to wait for the service to be restored :(

      I didn’t experience such problem at all. Didn’t even disconnected for once. :D

      I just tried connecting again and still the same error.
      Perhaps a few .NET Messenger servers not affected.

      wen i check from the .NET messenger service site, it says that all the things are working normally.. but in my messenger it says im not connected to .NET messenger service… can someone help me plssssssssssssssss

      I’ve been having this problem since 13th January ,i was connected to it in January but when i logged out of it to go to bed the next day i couldn’t log in the 2 men wouldn’t move or anything…So it was working fine until then, last year it worked perfect now it doesn’t i find it very strange…It’s nothing to do with my internet connection because it was fine at the start of the year, i am using a wireless connection by the way..I’ve uninstalled it and installed it , it still hasn’t done anything i’m getting fed up of this now my friends keep asking why i’m not on MSN live messenger well it’s not my fault. I use XP and never had a problem with logging into MSN until now, i have to use ebuddy and i am able to log in on there..It says when i go to options that i’m not currently connected to the .net messenger service so i must of been disconnected from it or something but i was connected on the 13th January but i’m not now…
