I solved that problem. The problem was that my system was searching for floppy drive and i didn’t had that.This problem came because in my bios floppy drive was enabled and so i by disabling that my system now boots up in ~20secs. Phew,lucid is great its much faster OS than those windows and others linux distro.

hey paul….
is linux mint 8 better than ubuntu 10.4….
i just formated my laptop…n installed windows 7…
i have iso file of both mint 8 and ubuntu 10.4 beta 1..
among mint 8 n ubuntu 10.4 which is better n stable to have it as my second OS
