This is due to WWE has asked their lawyers to warn Pro Wrestling Torrents to stop infringing WWE copyrights.
At least this is a warning and not immediate action taken by their local authorities.

As you know, World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. is the exclusive owner of numerous trademarks, service marks, and copyrights, including numerous copyrights for the images of its talent, and show footage. As owner of numerous copyrights, we vigilantly protect our copyrighted works and will not tolerate any infringement of the same.
WWE has recently acquired evidence that you are, AGAIN, infringing our copyrights, specifically, by posting WWE copyrighted images, and/or footage on your www.pwtorrents.net website. Your actions constitute actionable copyright infringement. Under U.S. Copyright law, we may be able to obtain actual damages plus any additional profits you made on the infringing products, or statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work infringed, counsel fees and costs (17 U.S.C. §504, 505). In addition, under U.S. Federal Criminal law, you may face criminal sanctions, including imprisonment and fines (18 U.S.C. §2319).
In the interest of avoiding costly legal proceedings, we demand that you:
1. immediately and permanently cease posting any WWE images and/or footage on your www.pwtorrents.net website, and agree not to post any WWE copyrighted works, now or in the future;
2. immediately remove WWE copyrighted images and footage from your www.pwtorrents.net website;
3. confirm in writing that you have complied with all of WWE ’s demands by signing and returning a copy of the Acknowledgement and Agreement included below.
The demands made herein are not made to the exclusion of other remedies to which WWE is entitled and WWE specifically reserves the right to seek all remedies available to it under federal law and state law as a result of your infringing activities.
If we do not hear from you by April 19, 2006, we WILL take further legal action.

Welll I have been banned form their site too (welcome to the club) . I have downloaded 3 ecw torrents and then i left my utorrent open for like 18 hours a day but guess what , There was no upload speed on any of the 3 torrents or if there was some it was like 0.7 to 1.0 kbs so it would have taken 6 months to have a ratio of 0.5 !!
What can you do when u leave ur utorrent open 18 hrs a day but there’s no upload speed ? The answer Nothing and of course your ratio is going down quite rapidly and you’re screwed . There could be a way to return on this site it’s by changing your IP (there are some programs for that and I have an excellent one btw) but i won’t go back tehre cause this site makes me want to puke (puking heavily)

I just got kicked off of Xtreme Wrestling Torrents a few days ago myself. Why?
First, my copy of uTorrent was acting up, and not seeding torrents. While trying to find out and fix that problem, so that way everyone would be happy, the area I live in got hit with 14 inches of rain (I live in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, which was one of the hardest-hit areas), flooding my basement with about 3 inches of water or so, and this basement is where I keep my computer equipment, so I had to move all of that out to keep it from frying. Then, on top of that, we ended up losing our electricity for a couple of days, so I couldn\’t just hook up my computer somewhere else and keep the system going.
Well, when everything finally went back to normal, and I got my computer hooked back up, since my account was already closed, considering I had no way of doing anything with it, first off, without any power, and having to do a lot of cleaning in my basement, I figured I would simply contact the owner of the site, explain my situation, and hopefully get my account back and running.
That didn\’t happen, and I was ridiculed and called a liar each time I contacted the site.
First of all, there is no contact information on the site, period, so I guessed at what the email address would be, and after using:

I got through. However, after explaining my situation, and thinking that any normal and decent human being would take it into consideration and reinstate my account, I was told that, basically, I was a total liar, and that I was stupid for even thinking that I could get my account back.
Well, of course, this made me mad, considering that, first off, I wasn\’t lying and I wasn\’t just making excuses, and for the fact that I was treated like I was some sort of sub-intelligent idiot. So, getting the real email address:

That the flooding wasn\’t his problem, (I also got the feeling, reading between the lines, that he was blaming ME for the flooding problems like it was all my fault, and/or I was totally lying) and that I was banned.
I don\’t care about being banned. I couldn\’t care less anymore about not being a part of a site that\’s run by a pussy-assed, self-important, immature, bigoted fucktard. I just hope that I can help other people make the right decision about which torrent sites to use, for whatever they\’re looking for, and NOT USE Xtreme Wrestling Torrents. Life will be easier for you, and will be a big middle finder up and directed at that cocksucker.
Banning.. I think I finally figured it out.
Got banned from XWT with a good seed ratio about a month ago for no reason, and they didn’t tell me.
Just tried PWT a few days back and the same thing happened after two days. Asked why I was banned, and one volunteer got a message to me about 2 minutes before I was banned again. He accused me of hacking the server and faking my ratio, showing I had an upload speed of 700MB/s+.
I absolutely wasn’t doing that, but it gave me the information I needed to research what had gone wrong.
Guys, be very careful which torrent software you use. I was using KTorrent for Linux, which wasn’t listed on a banned peer list I’d ever seen. I’ve done some research and KTorrent apparently reports bad stats to private trackers. It sounds as if uTorrent or Azureus are the only safe bets.
I know I’m not getting my account back, but at least I was able to deduce what was getting me kicked from good torrent sites.

They carnt take competetion last i heard was that they had banned all staff members from any other wrestling related site and were continuously spamming the other sites with all sorts of verbals.

All you need to do to keep your account on XWT is not use the bitcomet, bitlord & bit-tornado clients & dont hit & run (try to keep a 0.5 ratio) & and you will stay on XWT for a long time but if you keep on breaking the rules which everyone would know if they read the rules you wont stay at XWT for very long at all

Ok, it seems to be sort of working for me now (still very slow, and only about 2 in every 3 pages loads). Was that a suspension (It did seem to last about 24 hour for me) or were there just server problems? Anyone else whos a current member have trouble today?
I’m guessing I was banned from XWT, because all of a sudden I can’t log in or anything. The problem I have with this is I have no idea why I was banned. If my ratio was low (and I was trying to find it on XWT last NIGHT to see what it was) then at least tell me. Or maybe some contact info would be nice. It took me a while, but on Demonoid, I have uploaded 220GB and only downloaded 77GB, so its not like I hit and run. Just a little communication would be nice. I mean I thought I had seeded for a while, but with no posted ratio, how the hell are we to know?
Is the site having troubles at the moment, or have I been banned for no reason? I was on an hour ago and everything was fine, I notice my torrents and seeds have all stopped so i check the site again and it wont accept my username/password. My share rate rarely drops below 0.5 (its almost impossible to stop it happening sometimes) and ive had no warnings or messages. Whats going on?
