Thanks for sharing this information with us. Here is another tools which I used to use as when we do medical transcription we need text search tool a lot. So, the tool I used to use was Examine32 a great tool.
Do give it a try.

Also any text editor should be able to do it..like Textpad, Ultraedit..

it probably would have been easier to fix the can’t stat problem instead of coding around it. permission issue. but nice find anyhow!
