Want to know what projects has been most downloaded at SourceForge? I got quite a shock when I had a look at SourceForge.net’s All-Time top downloads to see what files are most downloaded by people. Even the past 7 days are not much different that then all-time top downloads.


The shocking thing is that six file-sharing applications is occupying the first six places in SourceForge’s All-Time Top Downloads! They are eMule, Azureus, Ares Galaxy, BitTorrent, DC++, and Shareaza.

Not much difference either on the past 7 top downloads. Although file-sharing applications did not occupy the first six places like the all-time top downloads, but there are 5 file-sharing applications in top 10.

Now we know what people download most and what they want.
