It loads into memory when the computer starts. :) And to disable the plugins, you only need to move them into another folder... No need for additional programs to disable them... ;) besides, if you disable some wrong plug-ins, you'll be in deep trouble when you accidentilly click on PDF files online and Acrobat reader will try to load the plug-in.
