i have one doubt… am using a aspire time linex 5830 t and its comes with win7 basic 64 bit .. presently am using a winultimate 7 64 bit… and i copied pqservice in my HDD … now what my question is how i can use the thirdparty softwares from this … or in which folder it s there so tht i can have all my softwares which was there with windows 7 basic… any idea?

if you can’t found mbrwrdos.exe, you can try using : mbrwrwin.exe install rtmbr.bin

You can accesss your hidden partition on your acer laptop at anytime.. Just Shutdown and then start your computer. When you see the all black screen with just acer on it hold down alt then push F10. You must do this twice in a row.. So Alt F10 + Alt F10.. Then just walk through the steps .. As long as your drive has not been formatted your PQ will be there. Dont buy a stupid Pq service.. You likely must put in the directory or change directory first for the DOS prompt, as it does not check all folders for the executable.

x:\ cd d2d
x:\d2d\d2d32.exe

or however it looks. It’s been a while since I used DOS, but I know that the command directory is the current folder you are in, (plus any listed in the system.ini file or whatever one it uses these days)

I tried your method on my Acer TravelMate 8472TG, but it doesn’t work. It said the d2d32.exe is not a recognized command. What’s the problem?

How do you fix the error 0xd000000? I have the recovery discs sent to me by acer and they still don’t work and acer’s support is crap. I see all kinds of blog articles on the same error but none say how to fix it?
