Honestly, I don’t play much computer games but I do once in a while when I get really bored and can’t think of anything to do on the computer. I went to Reflexive Arcade to look for some small sized games but nice to play with. If you visit Reflexive Arcade’s website, you’ll find hundreds of games in there but only around 9 games are developed by them. Reflexive Arcade is like a reseller for small sized downloadable computer games. Hence, the payment goes to Reflexive Arcade if you buy them and also the software registration protection method is also provided by them.
Looked around and found that Tradewinds Legends screenshot is pretty nice. I get to buy ships, upgrade canons and use magic spells. Plus the reviews for this game is awesome. This game gets almost full scores from every reviewer! Moreover, to download this game only takes a few minutes with a broadband connection since the size is 13.92MB. The description for Tradewinds Legends is “Trade and battle with legendary heroes in the mythical Far East as you discover a world of magic on the high seas in this strategy adventure!”
I played Tradewinds Legends for a while and I am kinda addicted to it until I finish the game. However, it’s not really that easy to play with. You have to really manage your money or it’s called Dinar in the game properly. Otherwise, you won’t be able to repair your ships, buy new canons, buy magics, or even repair your ships in order to battle with the future pirates! Some of the items even costs a bomb such as a magical ring cost 1 million dinar! How in the world am I supposed to get that amount of money if I get around tens of thousands Dinars when I complete each task? After each battle with pirates, I need Dinar to repair my ships and buy new canons to replace the spoilt canons.
Before I stop playing the game and uninstall it, I thought that I should look for cheat codes, trainers or hacks on how I can increase my dinar in Tradewinds Legends. Searched around in Google, I can’t fine ZERO cheat codes or hacks for this game! I find it hard to believe because usually a game creator would build-in a cheat code in the game. Since there are no cheats for Tradewinds Legends, I thought that I should find a way to cheat the game myself. Whenever I load the saved games, it would load everything including how much Dinar I have. I looked in the saved games file which is savegame0.sav located in “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sandlot Games\Tradewinds3″ with a hexeditor and couldn’t find anything related to Dinar. Thought for a few minutes and remembered to look for references in memory. So I used a freeware called Memory Gutter XP to locate the Dinar and I found it! I changed the values and indeed the Dinar also changes according to what I changed in the memory “AFTER” I purchase something in the game.
This is how I did it… and I believe it should work for old version Tradewinds 2 as well.
1. Download Tradewinds Legends from Reflexive Aracade and install.
2. Download Memory Gutter XP and install.
3. Play Tradewinds Legends and save 1 Dinar in the Bank.
4. Press Esc button to play Tradewinds Legends in windowed mode. Now run Memory Gutter XP.
5. Click on “Open Task” button and select Tradewinds Legends process and click OK.
6. Click on “Search” button from Memory Gutter XP, type “4999” in Value 1 and click OK.
7. You should see some memory address starting to appear in Memory Gutter XP. Double click all the found memory addresses and it will be added to the box below.
8. Right click on the below box memory addresses and select “Poke“.
9. Enter the value “999999999“. That’s the maximum number you can enter as it can only support 9 characters the most. Trust me, that amount of money will last you throughout the game.
10. Do the same for the rest of the found memory address you’ve added to the below box in Memory Gutter XP.
11. Go to bank to withdraw your 1 Dinar and you’ll now have 1000 Million Dinar in Tradewinds Legends!

For all these people wanting to play and who can’t pay, or just cant be bothered, I will tell you how to get this game and alot of other bigfish games, or games that require credit card for full version, absolutely free. It is not a virus site, but it is recommended to scan everything you download. Firstly google utorrent in google, download it, install it. Now go to isohunt.com
Put Tradewinds in the search bar, click search, click the tradewinds legends game that has the biggest number in the S column. Click download torrent. After download double click it on your desktop and press start. It will now start downloading. the secret is: make money to buy all the items in the magic shop…..than you have 9% bank interest and 8% from money loaners. you can borrow and deposit to the bank and win money. it’s a bit tricky before the 1st billion but then its easy.

No need to cheat, all it takes is a LITTLE patience. I found the best way to make big money is;
initially trade – buy low sell high, even visit the temple’s – just remember to write down the tips they give you when you pay tithes. As you make more and more money, keep topping up you bank account, and most importantly buy particular items – the books, not every book, just the ones that increase bank interest and reduce money-lender interest. eventually you get to where bank interest is more than money-lender interest – then you can borrow heaps, bank it, wait a month or 2, withdraw the $$, payback your loan and repeat, this way you can rapidly increase your bank account: billions or trillions of dinari!
Whoa, you can even make your money up to 1trillion, by deposit in the bank, and by using the cheats each times i play!
No need to cheat – just go through the magic items until you get your bank interest up to 15% and your lender interest down to 8%. Then max out your credit and let your money work for you – sail around killing pirates without cannons – just use the swarm and wrath spells (you’ll be making enough on interest to easily cover the expense. When you have more than 100 trillion in the bank, it just shows up as “Lots” – very gratifying.

This wont work on COMBATGROUNDS and I’ll tell you why. The reason is CG is server sided and if you know anything about hacking theres 2 different servers client/server.client has to do with scambling your own codes on your computer that most likely you downloaded,like TW2 or CombatArms,etc. Server sided games,usaully text based games like CG and gangstermind has to do with the games own server,so it may appear like you hacked the game,but really no1 else see’s that you have 800,000 recruits or 300,000 Turns. and this will go away once you hit refresh or click onto another page,there is a way to hack server sided games,but am not telling,and you will most likely go to jail.

last hint: keep trading and allways check the market once you pass the 50 millon mark never let your pocket cash go below 20 millin you never know when you can find a really great deal
i kept trading until i had around 900 mill, and after that i didnt need any more $$

I cannot believe someone will advertise this. I’ve played the game, and right now, THROUGH WELL-PLAYED TRADE, I’ve amassed a fleet of 10 Dragon Vessels with 10 Stone Golem cannons each, and around 250,000,000 dinar in both the bank and in my pocket. I have warehouses in 3 locations maxed out with contraband. That is the key. Buy things to keep contraband from being noticed – you can buy rugs for 6,000 and sell them for 16,000.
I never cheated once. I never “hacked” the game. I simply tried a few times until I learned the game and figured out the best prices, when to buy, and when to sell. Just use a little intelligence!

Hey I just have one thing to say and its, get pop cap games! You can play it there too… also are there any cheats where you dont actually have to download something, cuz there could be viruses!
Quick Memory Editor also works. Just add Tradewind while it\’s running, and then search for your dinari amount in the SEARCH field. Make sure it\’s set to Integer.
You want to try to have the dinari at some random number, because if you have it at an integer (like 5000), there may be other integers in the programming which will pop up. Usually you should get about 3 results that pops up. Double click on all 3 and set the value to 999999999 (i think thats the max you can set it to). Note: Quick Mem automatically locks it for you, so that whenever you buy stuff, even though it takes away from your dinari amount, your dinari still stays the same. So you can keep investing the MAX amount to your bank, but it\’ll never run out.
Once you\’re pleased with how much you\’ve totally cheated, right click on the LOCKED integers at the bottom of the screen, and click Delete All. Now your dinari are no longer locked, and will go up and down normally (except you have what, 10 bil?)
But yeah, if you\’re a good trader, you can get that amount just through playing. Once you\’re past the start (which is the hardest part), it\’s easy. And your dinari grows exponentially, because the prices of the merchandises fluctuates exponentially.

This works. The trick is to know exactly how much money you have on hand. So this is what I did. Went to bank deposited money so I would have a low number I could find example… bank had 20 mill and change; cash on hand was at 899999 nice number I could find. Did a search and used 899999 instead of 4999 and changed them all to 999999999. Saved my game in an empty slot. left game I just saved, then loaded the new saved game I just created and BAMMM. I had 1 trillion on hand. I’m playing tradewinds legends. Good Luck.

Responses to this message will give me notification to check for it. Didn’t see the box last time. Also, With that sort of spread between borrowing and lending rates, Hasan needs to borrow the max when he has accumulated about 50% more money than he has borrowed and is in a port with both a money lender and a banker. Then put it all in the bank except for pocket money (less than 50 million, assuming his warehouses are full of gunpowder and/or rugs.) If you start smuggling too soon, you’ll go bust. Wait until you have the right “magic.” If you have both the Crate of Secrets and the Chest of Secrets, you won’t get caught often, but you are not immune. Same with the 100 million dinari charm. With all three, it seems that you are entirely immune from port authorities. I buy the Priest’s ring as well for added insurance. You may have to buy all three Priest rings before you discover the one that reads that it gives you protection from port authorities. Other magical items help, but these, I think are the keys to “blowing the game away.” If you grow weary of too many pirate battles and storms, buy the Neverstorm and the Neverwar items simultaneously, not seperately. There’s still plenty of pirate battles and storms, but the little nuisance ones go away. You will have storms when you have the cursed knife, and be harrassed by pirates with each journey while you have the Golden Man, so there’s still plenty of weather and battle action even with Neverwar and Neverstorm.
If you can’t work the cheat, then here’s how to amass trillions of dinari. Play as Hasan. Buy low, sell high. Sell something for a loss if you see an obviously better bargain in a port. But the magic items. Almost all of them are helpful and you can sell the harmful ones back to the store. With Hasan, three of the Farmer’s Allmanacs, one of the Sorcerer’s Almanacs, and the Ebony Horse charm that he wins in a battle, gets him 13% interest at the bank and he can borrow money at 8%. The interest is per moon not per year. His money doubles frequently from this point.
Get objects like a particular Priest’s Ring, the Crate of Secrets, the Chest of Secrets (need both) and there is one magic shop item for $100,000,000 but I forget the name. Then keep track of where Gunpowder and Rugs are contraband and keep taking loads of these items to those ports. You get by the port authorities and usually triple your investment. After a while, the smuggling and the “tasks” seem rather pointless, as your money grows faster in the bank than you can by working for a living. d:c) Anyway, it’s a great game and kept me captivated for several days.
My highest dinari score was 2 trillion with Hasan in about 6 1/2 years. The fastest that won the game was 3 years 2 months and three weeks with Rhianna. All of this applies to story mode. The free-trade mode is rather dull, IMHO.

I got this to work for a cutom character. I think the trick is to enter the amount of money the character has after investing the dollar in the bank. In the tutorial the number that you use to enter into value 1 is 4999, which would be a dollar less than the 5,000 that the Asian Lady starts with.

iam having hard time getting this to work, is there anything that you recommend that i can try, i tried tradewinds 2 and legend and neither can i get it to work, i have even tried getting older and newer versions and the same. any help is much appreciated ..

pathetic you need a cheat for the money, i defeat everyone and get millions without cheating. just do a lot of things for the kings and trade
didn’t work… i get all the way up to entering the 4999 & nothing comes up after that.
