If you have any Nero software installed on your computer, try checking your Add or Remove Programs in your Control Panel and you should find an entry there which enables you to uninstall/remove it from your computer.

According to Nero, eventhough you should be able to remove any Nero software from your computer from Add or Remove Programs in your Control Panel, it is not advisable to do that because it won’t remove all Nero entries.
Well do not worry because Nero has provided a special tool to clean any Nero software in your computer.
Nero has provided a few CleanTool listed below.
1. General CleanTool
2. Registry Checker and Driver CleanTool
3. InCD CleanTool
4. Nero 5 CleanTool
5. Nero 6 CleanTool
6. Nero 7 Clean Tool
7. NeroVision Express CleanTool
I would recommend using General CleanTool because it can clean ANY Nero software installed on your computer. You can also use the specific cleaner for the Nero software installed on your computer.
General CleanTool automatically searches for any Nero software installed on your computer and display it in a dialog for you to choose which Nero software you’d like to remove. If you want to remove all Nero software, just click on the “Clean All” checkbox. Otherwise you can just select which Nero software you’d like to remove.

Please note:
First make sure you have your Nero 7 serial number to install Nero/Nero Express with. The serial number should look like this:
1C80-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (Nero 7)
• It should be located on the inside of the Nero jewel case the Nero CD came in. You can also open Regedit (a program in C:\Windows), and go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Nero-Burning Rom\Info†and obtain your Nero 7 serial number there.
• Double-click the EXE file to start the program. If you wish to uninstall all Nero programs, check the “Clean All†box and then click on the “Clean†button. Otherwise, simply check the boxes next to the programs you wish to uninstall and click the “Clean†button. After you finish uninstalling the desired software, restart your computer so that all registry entries will be removed.
• InCD 5 can be removed completely.
Uninstalling a program also removes all related plug-ins. Please make sure you have saved these files so you can re-install them afterwards.
• The General CleanTool recognizes if a program is still running and requests a shut down and it can remove files after a reboot in case they are still in use.
• You are able to execute the CleanTool even when you have to start your computer in “Safe Mode”.

[...] It’s getting frustrating because I am wasting a lot of CD-Rs and they are not the cheap type. I usually buy the high quality CD-R Imation so it can play on any player. But then, it could be that batch of CD-Rs that is causing the problem. I took out a usable CD-RW and burn the mp3 to audio cd, problem still exist. I thought to myself that it might be the mp3 problem. Perhaps the person who converted from audio cd to mp3 didn’t do a good job. So I tried burning other mp3 to audio CD on my laptop. SH*T! Some of the tracks skipped for a few second! Now I am able to rule out that it’s not my DVD-RW drive, CD-R or CD-RW media disc, or or my car’s audio player. Again, I gave it a thought and thinking it might be the operating system’s problem. I reinstalled a fresh clean Microsoft Windows XP Professional on my computer and immediately installed the latest Nero7 without installing anything else. If I still have audio cd skipping problem this time, it’s definately Nero7 that is causing it. Right on the money, the new audio cd still skips! I remembered that when I was using the old Nero 6, I never had any problems in burning from mp3 to audio CD. So I uninstalled Nero7 using Nero General Clean Tool, and installed Nero 6. This time I burn the same mp3 on the same batch of CD-R on my computer, NO MORE audio skipping problem! I am still not convinced why the latest Nero 7 is causing this problem! I did another test which is uninstalled Nero 7 on my computer, installed Nero 6, and tried burning mp3 to audio CD on my PC. Tested the audio CD and certified no problem! [...]
