After Team Paradox has figured out with the idea of using OEM BIOS Emulation to crack Windows Vista, a lot of people has made an effort to improve and simplify the cracking process. CLoNY did an excellent job in making the whole cracking process a “setup”. Just install and it will automatically crack for you. However, it did not give you any selection or choices during the cracking process.

STRO has created a Microsoft Windows Vista Activator 2.1.0.2 via emulation of BIOS vendor. It is a graphical user interface activator optimized for Windows Vista through BIOS emulation from leading manufacturers.

After 2 days, STRO has created a newer Vista Activator version 2.1.2.0.6 BETA. It has much more functions compared to 2.1.0.2.
Windows Vista OEM Bios Activator
Version 2.1.2.0.5 added NEC and SONY BIOS manufacturer. It also has a built-in external Product ID Checker.

I installed Windows Vista without entering a product key during installation. Used the cracked and it turned my Windows Vista into a licensed Windows Vista Ultimate! I wonder how is Microsoft going to fight back on this cracking method? Maybe they’ll release a KB929391 update on Windows Update? I really don’t encourage the use of Windows Vista cracks because one day Microsoft will find a way to make this crack unusable and your system might be unbootable. It’ll be a lot more trouble to make your computer bootable again…

      What raymond was saying was that microsoft MAY release an update that will discover that you have this crack, and if it is found, the update MIGHT cause your computer to stop working. Maybe there’s nothing they can do about it, who knows?

      I’m not sure if this is the side i should say this on. but i tired to install office 7, but it asks for a product key, and since you Raymond have taken them away, is it maybe possible to sand any one to me for me to try. i have looked for product keys the whole day, but i can’t find anyone. can anyone help me. i really need help. and by the way, i really like this web place of yours.

      Does this work with dual-booted Vista and XP ’cause it cracks the BIOS right? So what does XP do about a BIOS change? What changes does it make to the BIOS? For all the Noobs that try this that don’t even know how important the BIOS is i suggest you learn a bit more about the stuff you use before you use it!

      The crack is completely software based and doesn’t change the bios. it should work with vista and XP dual boot

      I’ve a problem,I’ve installed Vista activator and now my computer don’t start,I’ve the message :”GRUB4DOS 0.4.2 (2007-01-07), Memory:638K / 501M, CodeEnd: 0x3C6FC

      When I type Esc, I can choose between :

      find /menu.lst
      find /boot/grub/menu.lst
      find /grub/menu.lst
      commandline
      reboot
      halt

      The three firt line doon’t work,commandline come back at the screen before,reboot restart the computer,and halt shutdown the computer.

      I don’t know what I must do!Someone could help me,please?

      i used the vista activator of stro
      then restarted.
      then right clicked on royal.inf
      install
      reboot
      vista was activated

      Look, after downloading the Windows Activator I then installed the product key and clicked reboot. Once Computer rebooted would only go to :”GRUB4DOS 0.4.2 (2007-01-07), Memory:638K / 501M, CodeEnd: 0×3C6FC, and will not allow and commands. I’ve tried to use a boot cd and nothing is working, not asking if anyone else is having this problem just need someone to help explain what I need to do to get out of this situation.

      the problems is in the hard drive an not the bios.
      I think the simple way is to format the hard drive (not the partition).
      you can try to remove the hardrive from the pc, then boot using the windows CD. then you can connect the drive using an external USB box.

      the tampered/changed file(royal.sys) has been detected.. sorry for us hahaha!

      I have the Grub4Dos problem too, I think the people who are trying to dual boot with XP are having it after they apply the crack. I was able to get back to the Vista Installation screen from the CD but I was not able to load either operating system beforehand.

      Please someone shed some light on this, there is NOTHING on the internet and if there is its far too difficult to search for (Like most problems you get that have to do with linux)

      I had for a while the GRUB4DOS 0.4.2 issue that others report and, indeed, it did not allow me at all to access my OS (Vista Ultimate). I mounted a Linux rescue CD and found out that somehow the Grub program had replaced and perhaps erased the Windows Vista boot manager. The solution was relatively simple and worked out: insert your Vista OEM installation DVD and reboot. Before Grub acts, access your Boot setup (on my computer this is done by F12). Press the option that allows you to boot from a CD/DVD. Vista will load and ask you whether you want to install or fix things. Choose the second option, access command prompt and simply restore the boot manager by typing in the following:

      Bootrec /fixboot
      Bootrec /fixmbr

      Then restart your PC, and GRUB4DOS will be wiped out, while Vista will start normally.

      I have the Grub4Dos problem too.

      I can’t even get into the BIOS or boor from CD?

      So how can I restore the boot manager by typing in the following:

      Bootrec /fixboot
      Bootrec /fixmbr

      Can Vista crack on the WWW activator/crack cause the damage to the BIOS or the Motherboard because I’ve change a motherboard before now it is the same problem again unable to boot from CD.

      Please help?

      hi i tried the emulator and it ran, but after reboot an error msg said the bootmgr is compressed. i then tried to uncompress all files, but still nothing but error messages that blinked off before i could read them so i really dont know what the problem is. can someone help please? thanks!
