I watch hulu.com for hours on end, listen to pandora and safely surf the web, totally private from local law agencies ànd FREE without any hassles : )5 months ago, I re-tried hotspotshield again. I do not use Firefox anymore, just Chrome. I have had it working on Chrome 5.x and 6.x.There are a few things you have to do... After installing hotspot shield (dm-239.exe - zumodrive.com/share/6RuDYjlhYj), you firstly want to edit your hosts file (Vista/7: start notepad.exe as administrator). You find your hosts-file in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc.Add the following line to hosts:
127.0.0.1 box.anchorfree.netThis will block all advertisement systems Hotspot Shield uses.BUT this will not get the pesky banner away! Sure, the advertisement banner is empty with a page-not-found, but it is still taking up space.BUT I don't know how, I am not bothered by it! First, I thought it was due to some new chrome features. This is not the case. When I installed it the other day for a friend, it gave me banners and newly opened pages immediately. So I decided to add some of my installed BUT INACTIVE Chrome extensions to his Chrome installation. I did this with the new synchronization features of Chrome 6. One system restart ànd one of four disabled extensions seem to accomplish it. Install and test one-by-one to see which is effective (repost it maybe?). For I do not advise to keep these extensions activated - it might interfere with such movie-sites as movie2k.com...Try 1: Browser Button for AdBlock - Version: 0.0.7 (Disabled)
If you have already installed AdBlock and want a browser action button, install this too.
ID: picdndbpdnapajibahnnogkjofaeooofTry 2: AdBlock - Version: 1.4.28 (Disabled)
AdBlock for Chrome! Blocks ads all over the web. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars by our users!
ID: gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidomTry 3: AdBlock+ Element Hiding Helper - Version: 1.1.9.18 (Disabled)
AdBlock+ Element Hiding Helper port for Chrome.
ID: chmimgmjdabgiilljdjfbonifbhiglaoTry 4: FlashBlock - Version: 1.2.11.12 (Disabled)
FlashBlock for Chrome.
ID: cdngiadmnkhgemkimkhiilgffbjijcieI am SO SORRY that I cannot tell which one to use exactly - I missed it. So if you figure it out, OR can't get it to work completely silently... Please repost! I'll investigate further! For now the only problem that remains is that once in a while you cannot connect to hulu.com because they detect you are behind a proxy. The last two months I'm actually looking constantly (before that, I sometimes had to wait a few days, then I could watch a few days, etc.). On occasion I have to reconnect once or twice, but then it bypassed hulu's filter. I do not know if this is because I persisted for so long with hotspotshield, that my real IP gets a shortcut to hulu? I don't know. Test it yourself...For I am LOVING it : >>>Peace!!Devvie~~~ devnullius@googlewave.com ~~~Cuisvis hominis est errare, nullius nisi insipientis in errore persevare

I'm using hidemynet.I can't imagine alwaysvpn will last to long as a free service, everyone sharing ip and trying to access hulu, etc. it will be constantly banned.

Has this one been banned yet by hulu? (untested, but it would meen that dev.nullius@gmail counts as a new user account for devnullius@gmail...).Currently, it has flash disabled - for privacy reasons. They are working this weekend on a possible fix. See ticket #120 on their site.
Unknown how long this fix will take, but they are aware this is a much requested "feature"...Otherwise, it's neuking briljant!WHAT is it?
Based on Privoxy, it's called: BitBlinder. It's primarily a private torrent downloader (private, in the way of: proxied). BUT it also includes a browsing-the-web feature with FULL proxy / protocol support (even upnp). It comes with a stand-alone (custom) version of Firefox. It has plug-ins support - so you can add what you truely think you need.Bandwith is shared in p2p-style - hope it has enough features for Un. St. people to join the progam ; -)Peace!And till repost ; P

Got a new program.

Early beta, still. For I first had to copy the example config files to C:\\Program Files\\OpenVPN\\config and I had to run, from the start menu, \"Generate a static OpenVPN key\", which creates two more config files. But then I\'m stuck. And I don\'t get it - everybody else seems to install just fine. What am I missing?I installed from: openvpn.se/ (GUI install). Both times the stable versions (after initially starting out with the latest builds - which gave me the same problems).I also tried it with the GUI from sourceforge.net/projects/openvpn-admin/#item3rd-2 .Error I keep getting is (when connecting with client.ovpn) the following:
Cannot load certificate file client.crt: error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory: error:20074002:BIO routines:FILE_CTRL:system lib: error:140AD002:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_use_certificate_file:system lib(Googling it did not give me an adequate solution.)I went on trying to configure it with another offerd wizzard: sourceforge.net/projects/openvpn-admin/ .Great tool, IF you know what you are doing. And it seems that I don\'t :|How do I get that crucial client.crt file??
