I find that using Ccleaner is the best fix for all your Windows and application cleaning, Registration fixing, Program Uninstalling, And START UP deleting and disabling…AND it works on xp sp3 and vista sp1…
ccleaner.com/download, its freeware get it now!

hello raymond i know one more method which is absolutely free the procedure is as follows
first start the pc in safe mode i.e pressing F8 at the startup
and second there you will see many options select enable boot logging and thats all it will save all configurations in your primary partiton i.e c: or whereever you have installed your XP .please reply if this does not works thank you.and keep up the good work.
