Hi

Just tried it - I think the information from WinBootInfo is pretty useless. Unless it also states how much time it took to load something, what's the point? I can se the time something was loaded, but not the number of CPU cycles and/or the number of IO reads/writes it made. So basically I have no idea how to use this information to find out what to disasble. Detailed trace... without the necessary information.

Hello Vedry.
I had the same problem as you. I got going again by the F8 before windows tries to load and then select Revert to Last Known Good Configuration. However; it did not work the first time. You probably need to be quick and press F8 before WinBootInfo tries to start. Having restored your system; you may get a WinBootInfo window message automatically appearing; if not, start the program and get immediatly to the screen asking you if you want WinBootInfo to enable itself ready for the next re-boot. Say no. Wait as I am for their technicions to offer a solution to the problem. I have notified them with some posts on their Forum (found on www.clockmod.com)

Raymond said:
WinBootInfo
"It cost $14.95 to purchase a single license but you can use it for 30 day free trial without limitations. "

Note: Microsoft BootVis forces ProcessIdleTasks to run before it profiles your system, which is why people think BootVis optimizes your system's boot speed (BootVis itself does not optimize your system at all).
