Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.5.554.0 and v1.5.708.0 Cracked

I found cracks for Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.5.554 and v1.5.708. I went to Windows Update and didn’t find any KB905474 updates as I am still using WGA 1.5.540. Team CRUDE cracked Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.5.554 on 2nd October 2006 and they claimed that it is the newest Windows Genuine Advantage from Microsoft. A day later on 3rd October 2006, Team ETH0 released a newer version which is v1.5.708 and they claim that this is the same crack that Microsoft shipped with their Windows XP release some days ago.

Anyway, if you’ve installed the either of the WGA versions above, you can get the cracks at the end of this post.


Team CRUDE’s crack for Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.5.554.0 contains cracked LegitCheckControl.dll, WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe. You need to replace the files in your Windows System32 directory. If it says that the file is in use, you’ll need to boot into Safe Mode to replace the files.

As for Team ETH0, it comes with LegitCheckControl.DLL, WgaLogon.dll, WgaTray.exe and an additional batch file installer.bat. Just run the installer.bat file and it will auto kill wgatray.exe process and auto replace LegitCheckControl.DLL, WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe file. Much simpler.

Remember, Team CRUDE’s crack is for WGA v1.5.554 and Team ETH0′s crack is for WGA v1.5.708. Don’t be confused with both different versions! I noticed that Team ETH0′s LegitCheckControl.dll doesn’t have Digital Signatures on it when view the file properties.

      Bryan: Maybe your download limit for Rapidshare has reached? I’ve just tried downloading from Rapidshare and don’t have any problems with it. Another thing you can try is to clear your web browser’s cache.

      Brendan, don’t be confused with sp2 and WGA. Service Pack 2 and Windows Genuine Advantage is totally different thing.

      To check your file version, look for the file LegitCheckControl.dll, right click and select Properties. It will show you the version number.

      As for updating your sp1 to sp2, just download, install sp2 and it will automatically update your Windows XP to sp2.

      It’ll tell you that you’ve got 24 days left but don’t worry about that crap mate, on this site when you download the WGA v1.5.708 crack you’ll notice that their is also the WGAtray(2).exe file just overwrite the one in the folder c:/windows/system32 with the new one and bob’s your uncle.

      The best way though instead of doing it manually is to just run the installer.bat. Sometimes though it doesn’t always work for 1 particular file, because it’s already in use. The manual way to do it is through the command prompt.

      Just an idea for you,
      go in to your command prompt, I don’t know what kind of level of technical expertise you have so forgive me for making this simple.
      start, run, cmd.
      In the command prompt type in ipconfig /flushdns
      This will reset the DNS revolver cache in your system.
      Another thing is to go to the website that you want and press F5 both together to ignore the cached website and download a fresh copy.

      It cannot work!After I install the installer.bat I run it and reboot my computer.After finish boot I just install my IE7.I press validate and it tell me ‘Your computer is not guniene, please go to http://www.microsoft.com for more information’

      Probably because M$ has already updated their version to 1.5.716.

      Dimitris, if the installer of SP1 (or SP2) says your XP is not genuine, then you need to change your installation CD key. WGA is not the issue here.

      I have no idea what Windows XP vanilla is, but you can download a keygen (for both the retail version of XP and VLK / corporate version) and a little tool to help you change your CD key (changer works fine for my XP Pro English SP2 & 2003 Server SP1) here:

      So I’ve got LCC version 1.5.532.0 (or 1.5.0532.0 whatever you want to call it) and I’ve never, ever had a problem getting updates from microsoft. The only time I even remember that my copy of XP (Professional SP2 2002) isn’t legit is when I tried installing IE7. I know the big concern about the validation is just so people can get their critical updates, but is there a way around this so I can install IE7?
      I downloaded a cracked version of IE7, but I don’t know if I can trust it and I decided I won’t take my chances on it.

      I’m running winxp pro sp2 and I’m in the same boat as you guys but my LCC version is 9.4.266.0. I was thinking about using CRUDE or ETHO but notice the versions are different. Could I still use it even though my LCC’s version is 9.4.266.0 or are there any other work arounds?

      Hello, I’m writing for the same thing as Ted’s. I have the LCC and It always worked fine with Windows Update and stuff.
      Now that I want to install IE 7, it says that I have a non-genuine windows, the crack didn’t work for this, so WHAT CAN WE DO?

      Btw, don’t know which new LCC to use, CRUDE’s or ETH0′s. PLEASE HELP!!

      I found a work around for installing IE 7 as downloaded from the Windows update site to update Windows XP Pro VLK
      1. download IE 7
      2. stop before validation
      3. using Magic Jellybean change the key, I used a key generated by a keygen downloaded from Bearshare filename “WinXP CD Key Changer + Windows XP-SP2 KeyGen.zip”
      4. Unplug your internet connection and press validate, leave the connection unplugged until IE7 is done installing.
      The advantage of using this method over the cracked version of IE7 is Windows update shows IE7 installed the cracked version does not.

      RE: post 032 the file size of the keygen is 183 kb, is there anyway it can be uploaded to this site?
      Also the new keys seem to fail validation, what seems to be key is unplugging the internet connection before validation.

      Please excuse my enthusiasm to share, thanks to folks on the web who I have to thank for getting me past the fck key dilema when MS decided to block “the devils own copy of xp” from upgrading to SP2 and for MS Blinder and so on and so on.
      They have their own greed to blame when they started the activation nonsense.
      I bought a legal copy of xp when it first came out as I did with all the other upgrades from Windows 95 on up but when I saw the activation requirements just said screw this, no way am I buying three copies of this for my own PCs, if MS should prevail in stopping us from getting updates I will just go back to Win98 or ME.
      Again I apoligize if I violated your rules.

      I just thought I’d give a tip to people who may have trouble recieving updates.
      I recently reformatted and installed my LegitCheckControl.dll file and didn’t have any trouble installing my updates. Then, for some reason, it wasn’t working anymore. The updates I needed to get would be listed, but when I’d click to download them, it would act as if it was going to start and then just disappear. My solution for this was to go to update.microsoft.com and Download the WGA Notification. Afterwards, I rebooted my computer, replaced WGA’s LegitCheckControl.dll file with my own cracked file and I was back in business.

      Simple problem: System doesn’t allow me to overwrite file WgaLogon.dll either in Normal or in Safe Mode. “File in use…” I’m trying to crack WGA 1.5.554. HELP PLEASE!!

      I too have this problem but cannot solve it.
      My operating Sysytem is as follows:
      OS Name: Mic Win XP Prof
      OS Version: 5.1.2600 (WinXP Retail)
      OS Service Pack: Service pack 2
      When I search for for LegitCheckControl.dll I find one in c/windows/systems and the version is 1.5.512.0 and another in c/windows/system32 and the version is 1.1.140.0
      So which crack should I use ?

      i have tried everything to get ie7 to work but its just not happening. the fact is that i dont really want it i just want to no i can get it if i so choose.
      the blue list have a working keygen and changer out. but this still does not let you install ie7.

      any body have any ideas????

      To Rony: The crack will not disable that message. They are just so you can download Microsoft’s updates. You won’t be able to download a lot of software from their site because it will recognize your copy of XP isn’t legit.

      A while back, I d/l-ed a crack for Windows XP svc pck 2 (it handled all versons & svc pcks), it was in a .zip (I _think … or a .rar?) file but there was an executeable inside. When I unzipped it, clicked on the .exe file, it authenticated my Win XP (Home Ed) [evidently it did as I was able to d/l all the Win XP security updates and IE 7 and Media Player v11, etc...]. I lost the .zip & .exe when I was forced (I thought) to re-install windows due to a _very_ slow system (I later found out that it was only a setting in the BIOS setup). I forget the name but it did the deed I wanted. (BTW: I _bought_ this copy of Win XP but through various reasons, had to re-install it so many times that microsoft now tells me that I need to buy it again or pay for another copy!) Can any help me find that program? I know that I am asking for a lot but… :/

      Hi my xp was dr. by a programmer in NYC. It is the best one I’ve seen.
      I have the corporate and activaters and all the other stuff too. BUT the disk I have now has no activation or any thing to register if you wanted to.
      It came with sp1 on it but I slipstreamed sp2 into it my self. Maybe some of you who cant run sp2 should just slipstream it into the disk before you install it. It saves time installing and no worry of activation to get it in there. When you install it got sp2 in it already.
      As for as the ie7. when I did the slipstream, I was also trying to put the 7 in it to.
      I was to unexpierenced to do it at that time, but the person that had the site had the details on how to. AND while i was unable to get the 7 slipstreamed in I was able to install it once operating system was running by his site.
      He had me to unpack and chose certain files and things to install, But in the end it worked great. I dont remember the site but search for slipstream cause thats how i found it.
      Trust me it is do-able and not to hard, as to I would not of spent much time trying if it was ” I use FireFox”
