Just few days after I’ve posted the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.5.722.0 Cracked article, the latest official version of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.5.723.1 is out!

Again, ETH0 is very quickly to get hold of the latest version of WGA v1.5.723.1 and cracked it. I found the package and it contains 4 files which is installer.bat, LegitCheckControl.DLL, WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe. Only LegitCheckControl.dll is the latest version 1.5.721.1. AS for WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe, it’s still 1.5.540.0. This package DOESN’T make your Windows become genuine. The cracked LegitCheckControl.dll enables you to get updates from Windows Update and WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe is to remove the annoying nag popups that keeps on reminding you that you’re using a non genuine Windows.

      I’m getting an error when trying to unzip this file with Winrar:

      -www.9down.com url: The file “www.9down.com.url” header is corupt
      -installer.bat: The file “installer.bat” header is corrupt
      -LegitCheck Controll.DLL: The file “LegitCheckControl.DLL” header is corrupt

      Whats the deal with that?

      After patch was able to download updates but they would not install.
      Message said” Updates were unable to be successfully installed”

      Re Previous post, it appears that the updates were applied after enabling automatic updates and clicking turn off computer. The update took place before the PC powered down.

      hi guys I installed Windows XP Professional on my newly built computer… then I stupidly tried to update it from Help and Support but it said my validation key is invalid…. So I downloaded this, and now It allows me to download the update for SP2 but when I install… about 5 minutes into the install I get an error saying that my product key may be invalid…. Anyway around this?

      Well I figured out a permanent solution for the 1.7.17.0

      Download a program called “Unlocker”, install it and go to C:\>Windows\System32\ and first delete LegitCheckControl.dll and WgaTray.exe and then select with mouse the WgaLogon.dll file and right click and select Unlocker Option, it will open a middle window size with some option at the bottom right place, choose Unlock and then delete it.

      After that, install the WGA_1.5.540.5_MkEx64 and after that paste the LegitCheckControl.dll-v1.5.723.1-Dic-2006, then restart your computer and maybe before it restart you will see a BSOD saying something of the Windows Genuine Logon, turn your computer holding the power button 6 seconds and it will shut down.

      When you turn it on it will be like it was before the instalation of 1.7.17.0, go to Windows Update and tell to hide the “Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474) until there is a better solution.

      Hope this help to everyone having this problem.

      I am 69 years old and of course I come before computer\\\’s era, and sometimes I get involved in a lot of problems but I am crazy on pc\\\’s and woman, both dificults !! but when they work give\\\’s you a lot of pleasure.
