Tthere are SOME viruses that neither Kaspersky nor Norton can identify. We'll have to manually remove them. There was one virus ( a .dll file) which automatically injects itself into winlogon.exe process. So it was undeletable. No AV could identify it. But it surely was a virus - it was trying to access net. It got loaded even in Safe Mode. I used RemoteDLL to unload the virus from winlogon.exe. But then system crashed. So I booted into a linux live cd & manually deleted the file. Simple.
